I actually agree with that one! Than we could just remove all quirk nonsense.
When the time comes for the clan invasion, they could let what clan tech is suposed to be, but instead, do 2 stars vs 3 or 4 lances, keep the absurd high prices of clan tech and the game would balance itself out!
Can you imagine being on a 10 man clan team vs a 18 IS man team? And we could only use clan mechs in CW or agaisnt other clan pugs. We would keep seperated clans from IS in pug matches.

But until they figure that out, they should return to 3020 or something, and use only IS mechs.
We all know that clan tech is just ridiculous right now, beleive me, ive tried it LOL, so instead of puting the clans through a ridiculous process, just take them out from the game! Let people do CW only with IS factions, set the clock in 3020!

I want to say this to everyone, no matter how people justifies that this is a MMO and things should be balanced, there were always be an unbalance lilte thing out there on the game. The fact that the lore gives us that unbalance, by stating that Clan tech is far better than IS, makes it legal to a point. The clans, since they came out, have been nerfed in every revision of balance... while IS had been buffed. Many will say that it needed, i do not agree. I think that it was lore based, as such, legal. How could we put a good and balanced fight then? 2 stars vs 3 or 4 lances... and it would be very dificult for the clans.
When PGI launched the clans, it was actually IGP's doing. They did, and after since, the game has been a mess. IS fan boys vs Clan fan boys... so, in my opinion, lets just take the clans out of the game, hold on to them until PGI figures how to put 2 stars vs 4 lances.

This patch was a FAILURE.

Too many things changed in game as far as mechanics of the weapons. Now, you get LRMd to death, and Dual gauss? forget it.

How about this instead of refunding Clan mechs Because some of use paid up to 100 dollars for these things remove them from the game play but not the game itself, let us keep our clan mechs we have ,but cut them out of play untll PGI can fix the issue then when clans are allowed again we still have our mechs.

I just really want to try out my BJ-1 AC2 mech, it does alright already but with the structure buffs to the blackjack and the improvements to AC2's its going to be a blast now I think :)

I really dislike the agility nerfs.

Otherwise, it looks like a solid patch.

IN buffing all your IS tech they were unable to modify anything else, any other controls that don't work will have to be sacrificed for Nerfs to your mech in order to work.

I was with Jade Falcon until like a week ago :P Don't look at me that way... I switched sides to play with my glorious new Marauder... I'll be going back in 2 weeks when the IICs come out, and all shall bow before the might of my Jenner IIC!

Feel like the money I spent on this game just got flushed down a toilet. Instead of waving the nerf bat.. had it rammed up my 4th point of contact. I feel like I shouldn't even bother to log in anymore. So many changes and i've only been playing for 5 weeks... it's a shame.

To everyone complaining that you paid for your Clan 'mechs, and Clan 'mechs are supposed to be ... (whatever) ...

We paid for exclusivity ... to be able to play those 'mechs early and have cute cockpit trinkets.

We paid for our time ... for the convenience of not having to grind the hundreds of millions of to purchase them.

We did not pay for 'mechs that are (or should be, or will always be) inherently better than any other 'mechs.

Clan tech, including the previous heat/cooling system and risk-free XL engines, made some clan 'mechs overpowered. compared to almost every IS 'mech (at least those that don't have ludicrous range, cooldown, or whatever quirks). If you thought it was your experience, skill and teamwork that gave you an edge over IS pugs (and some IS teams), time to wake up and harden up.

You don't want a challenge? Go play MegaMek or Tower Defense and PvE to your heart's content.

Amen, good sirs, amen.

Besides being the worst weapons in the game, I don't hear the same vitriolic screams of hatred over the buffs to the AC/2, which has the same tabletop damage output as Flamers and MG's, and even has a minimum range. Theoretically, Flamers and MGs should then get the same level of DPS as AC/2's . . . which we know WON'T happen. However, I'd just be happy if they were made useful and at least presented more options of viable weapons. Give people a reason to consider taking a Flamer over a Small Pulse Laser or Medium Laser. Granted, not everyone will do it (and that's understandable, it's called variety and choices), but the options and reasoning should exist.

I also find it annoying and disgusting that the myth (yes, myth) is so heavily propagated that those weapons only worked against infantry; which in turn propagates the belief that these weapons should just be left useless in MWO. Those people need to pick up a rulebook. They work just as well on mechs as they do on infantry, they just got a bonus to infantry to make up for their extremely short range and otherwise niche usefulness as knife-fighting weapons.

Please remove your terrible voting system. Everyone has a preference for game mode based on the mech they're in and now being forced into a weighted, work-the-system voting screen sucks. Someone is guaranteed to be disappointed every match... perhaps multiple consecutive matches. This makes no sense from a business standpoint. Sales are made by overall customer satisfaction (and impulse buys). How does frustrating gamers make them want to play your game?
