it seems like my 2 uac5s jam, just about EVERY single time I fire now, anyone else seeing this? Am I just incredibly unlucky?
I'm going to try some more games, but done 3 so far, with very high jam rate :/

There are multiple aspects of the game, which seem like PGI had never calculated. Like the jam time or same 10 hp on almost every component. BTW, the crit system in general looks like in early alpha state...
But! Since these aspects don't break the game => they're not at high priority => they stay intact while the alphastrike and other things are being modified constantly.
That's how resource management works.

Oddly my best UAC build is my Mauler 1P (not the 2P, the 1P so no UAC quirk). Seems to only occasionally lose 1 gun at any given time, so nearly always firing 3 of 4. I can live with that.

That's a great thread. It is slightly more focused on the long term effects on DPS on average and how the 30% quirk affects it. I believe it results in a 13% increase in overall DPS IIRC.
That's pretty significant for long term DPS.

Just thought I'd ask if you start with a double click vs. a rhythmic tap every second or so?
Just incase people don't know, I think you've got to wait until the cooldown goes past the halfway point of the cooldown cycle and your jam chance goes down. You can test it out in the Testing Grounds and you'll get to memorize the cadence of your trigger finger. If I can remember to breath and slow my shooting down, I tend to get off a lot more shots before jamming, whereas when I panic button mash I'll jam often and early and have to run for cover and take it in the rear on my retreat.
