Do to our internal CoC, SoR members are unable to participate in large amalgamations of this type. I Think it's a good Idea in principle to get a lot of folks an otherwise better result in the final rankings. Good for Morale and the general esprit de corps that gets a lot of FRR units pumped.

I am the current Training Commander for the RKA. I am also an experienced Drop Commander and offer the RKA to any small or lone wolf FRR warriors as a place to join for this event.

Contact me with a friend request and I can get you set up. The Teamspeak server link is located in these forums and will be used a lot during this event.

To CEF and others that feel differently about this offer. I understand fully and wish you the best of luck and hope to hear you are in the top 3 in the faction. I have a 3rd place banner from the last event myself and know what pride I have in that.

Drop by the teamspeak sever if you are a small unit or with no unit but are FRR. We will get you up and running for this.

Greetings:
I am the CW liaison for Community Warfare for the Canadian Expeditionary Force. We are a Merc unit and have been loyal to FRR ever since we started to join the CW. On this offer we have been treated as second class citizens and by what I have read on this thread we are to be used and not made count on this tournament.

The RKA stands for Royal KungsArme. It is a coalition of FRR loyalist units. When or if the RKA does fight, it reflects well on all units within the RKA and the FRR itself. It makes the statement that there are people and units within the FRR who are willing to forgo personal glory in order to see the FRR succeed and in order to give everyone in the FRR a chance to be a part of that success.

I honestly think that the lack of time to prepare for this event is what really harmed the efforts to bring everyone into the RKA for this tournament. Had we a week to prepare it would have been a lot more possible.

When the smoke has settled after the tournament, I would love to see ISEN in 1st place. They are my unit, I have great pride in them and that would be an exciting moment for me as a leader and player in ISEN to see that happen.

However, I would be willing to swallow that unit pride and force all my active guys into an RKA tagged unit, and with the help of other like-minded units, put RKA on the top. This time the pride would be different. It would be pride in being a part of something bigger than myself or my unit, pride that we as a faction were able to put aside petty differences or the small patriotism for our units and instead worked together to be more.

Yeah it isn't ISEN plastered on the leaderboard, but it is RKA - and I can say we were part of that, we helped. Just imaging the enemy's thoughts as they faced waves of RKA FRR members attacking them, confused and alarmed as it seemed if all the FRR had banded together to defeat them; that just gives me a warm feeling.

CEF is a Mercenary unit, but like you've stated you have been with FRR ever since you started playing CW. I messaged Nomad on TS about this post because I felt like you would be worthy shoulder-men in this endeavor. I had no interest in treating you or anyone else here as 2nd class citizens. That's part of the reason for choosing the RKA unit as where we'd congregate. We're all equals in there, all wearing the same tag, all fighting for the same Royal KungsArme of the FRR.

Also one last thing. I totally agree about BSK. That dude's a ****.

I do hate to seem to be agreeing with Mech but it does seem to me that BSK is not conducting himself in a manner that represents the FRR.

Fellow Vikings:

I am not sure we are getting this right. When you see the tables for the tournament there are only two classifications. Top factions clans and Inner Sphere, then the units classifications. If we all join the Rasalhague KungsArme i don't believe it will show it in the top factions, it will show it in the units columns and then we will not be able to determine which units are performing better than others. the RKA tag will not show on the TOP FACTIONS, just the FRR shield.
Please correct me if i'm wrong, or if there is some other purpose that I am not seeing.

<---------------- hey BSK do you know why my tag has a different color than yours? hmmm, guess within your elitist founders clasifications you are less than me. Posted Image

You are correct. The RKA, assuming it was successful, would show up in the top units section.

The unit standings are determined based on raw total wins, correct? How does this prove anything about the units other than their size? Whichever unit has the most wins will get first place, regardless of their actual win/loss ratio.

Correct. It is purely population-based rewards. If you have a unit with 10 pilots and each pilot gets 10 wins, you'll get 100 points. If you have a unit with 100 pilots and each pilot gets 2 wins, then you get 200 points. The biggest units are the ones that win.

Ah, I see. Well if the event is just giving out awards for whoever has the biggest unit, allow me to predict the "Top 3" units in the FRR:

1. Sons of Odin
2. 1st Hussar Remnants
3. BSK (I guess?)

Congratulations! Sound the feasting horn! You are the biggest units in the FRR, at this point in time!

Now why couldn't we do the RKA idea again? :)

I like the idea. It allows loyalist units and loyalist solo players to show their united front and willingness to band together against a common foe in defence of the FRR & IS.

Like I said before, this is childish and your assumptions are ridiculous.

You need to rethink what being a founder means. It doesn't make anyone immediately a perfect competetive player like you, tresspaser. In fact we are looking for poorly performing players with a founder tag but without a unit, like we write in our introduction thread. We offer returning players help with loadouts, communication, strategies, dropdecks and either connect them to other units or they join us.

We pick the worst players without any other requirement than being a founder and you call us elitist and pretentious ..

I don't think so, we are not really interested to go beyond the 4.000 matchscore.

It was a nice idea, just came to close to the event to be realistic.
