Currently conquest is treated as skirmish after an initial light capfest or a brawl with the last mechs standing running from each other and capping points for 5 minutes.
This is what I would like to see change:
Randomize the location of the nodes across the map
All nodes currently give you points at the same rate. One of the nodes needs to give double or triple points. It would be bigger than the other nodes and would be the one to defend if you want to win by points. It would take 2-3 times longer to cap.
I think this would make conquest more points and defense focused than just another skirmish mode.
