This is a Youtube video from Kanajashi. I think this is an incredible idea that needs attention.

The gist of it: Exchange the requirements of Elite mech tree and Master mech tree.

If you made it so in order to begin filling out the elite tree of a mech, link it to requiring the completion the Basic with at least 3 mech of a Weight Class. But then make the mastering of a mech require you to elite 3-4 variants of a single mech.

This change would promote the purchase of more mechs and many different variants making it more fun for new players or any player for that matter if they just want to get to enjoy many different mechs. The current design is good but it's backwards.
