It seems pretty standard in the Free to Play market for there to be bonuses to XP/cash the first time you win a game (or different chassis in a game) every 24 hours. Has PGI said anything about this?
Ex. I win a match in my stalker and get a 10% bonus, jump in my Rave and get a 10% bonus, win another round in my Stalker and get the standard reward because ive played the Stalker already today.

I think that MWO having it would be a great idea

Thought it was a good idea in WOT and would probably be a good idea in MWO as well.

Glythe has a good idea, though.... a set time after your first battle starts or upon login would be a bonus that is entirely fair.

I'm not sure how this would be implemented in game, but it could be a neat way of encouraging your House or clan-mates to go after a certain location or objective that day without FORCING anyone to do anything.

that's why static bonus is better, its never wasted & dont provoke TKing to force loose on bad match

There are not multiple pilots or crews. There is just you.
You do gain XP
You do believe you also gain chassis specific XP.
You also gain faction loyalty points

+1 for this. It's a pretty cool idea. Though I could see something like a 25% bonus rather than 10%.
Then again this would make things more comfortable for 'free' players as opposed to urging them to drop money to stay on top of things. (Not that I would mind, I'm merely trying to view this from a monetary standpoint since I want MWO to be successful for a looong time.)

It was a good plan for WG to get players to buy cash or cash tanks though

For the XP system, as far as I understand it is a trickle down system. Or, you get XP for the chassis you are using, then a portion of that is general XP that can be used on all chassis. Your pilot doesn't get XP. Instead you get a specialization point every time you reach a certain level of skill(s) in a chassis.
Example: Complete match, get X amount of xp for use on the Hunchback you used. Some portion of X is general xp, which you can use on the HUnchback or your Catapult. When you unlock/research a set of skills (like, a row or branch or something) for a specific chassis then you get 1 point for your pilot which is used on various specializations in the Scout, Assault, Command (I don't think there's a Command anymore though) pilot trees.
Personally, I would prefer just a "First Win of the Day" or "Multiplier Weekends/Day" over the per Mech/Chassis system, simply because it makes me feel like I don't miss out on anything if: I don't have a lot of mechs or don't want to use a specific mech right then.
