Did some searching of the forums and couldn't find anything on the topic...

It seems pretty standard in the Free to Play market for there to be bonuses to XP/cash the first time you win a game (or different chassis in a game) every 24 hours. Has PGI said anything about this?

Ex. I win a match in my stalker and get a 10% bonus, jump in my Rave and get a 10% bonus, win another round in my Stalker and get the standard reward because ive played the Stalker already today.

this served as a great incentive in WOT for me to play each tank at least once a day (although it was 2x, and every vehicle had their own)
I think that MWO having it would be a great idea

always made me sad when my first win of the day had no kills and so it was wasted.

Thought it was a good idea in WOT and would probably be a good idea in MWO as well.

Questionable example. WoT is notorious for the ugly grind. Instead of easing it, WG put an exp carrot in front of people. I have seen people just play tanks to get it over with and do something else afterwards. They felt compelled to do so because they were overly invested in the game, not because it was fun to do. Let's hope we can skip the 'ugly' part in grind when it comes to daily doubles playing MW:O. Maybe it's not even necessary at all.

I'd rather see something like a power hour.... first hour every day gives small bonus xp and CB. That way you can just play and have fun instead of being restricted to the first battle of each mech. Even if it was something as small as 10% it would be a nice boost over nothing.

I am not sure something like this would work in MWO.... in tanks, the xp was used to specifically upgrade/ progress that tank and its crew, not sure how the xp works exactly here, but we probably have one or a handful of mechwarriors, and there is no progression of 'mechs through xp. This would seem to only reward the people who play way too much and/or have a large number of 'mechs. It would be a bit unfair to let someone use cash to get ingame currency, then buy a crap load of slots and 'mechs, and grind all that bonus xp into one mechwarrior, while those who don't dump in the cash for such would only have a few bonuses (they have said that money will not buy power, and constant bonus xp to one mechwarrior would qualify in my opinion). Again, not yet exactly sure how xp works, but these are some issues I see with bonuses for first wins in MWO.

Glythe has a good idea, though.... a set time after your first battle starts or upon login would be a bonus that is entirely fair.

It might be a neat idea to allow bonus C-Bills or Exp for the first time you play for a territory as directed by the commander or leader of your house.

I'm not sure how this would be implemented in game, but it could be a neat way of encouraging your House or clan-mates to go after a certain location or objective that day without FORCING anyone to do anything.

I don't think the Devs have said anything about these types of systems. They might be cool, anything tht encourages me to branch out and work with more than just my favorite mech can only help as a pilot. The "grind" people refer to is unpleasant, however no one is holding a gun to your head and demanding you play each one every day. Just a bonus if you do.

that's why static bonus is better, its never wasted & dont provoke TKing to force loose on bad match

I'd like to see a First win of the day C-bill boost, maybe not experience.

There are not multiple pilots or crews. There is just you.

You do gain XP
You do believe you also gain chassis specific XP.
You also gain faction loyalty points

This wouldn't be fair to users that have less Mechs than other users. A Legendary guy with 12 Mechs could get it 12 times while a regular can only get it a max of 8 times.(No Legendary bonus storage space for extra Mechs) If they do put in a daily win, just have it be like the League of Legends one where it is 1 win per day no relevance on hero(es) used.

+1 for this. It's a pretty cool idea. Though I could see something like a 25% bonus rather than 10%.

Then again this would make things more comfortable for 'free' players as opposed to urging them to drop money to stay on top of things. (Not that I would mind, I'm merely trying to view this from a monetary standpoint since I want MWO to be successful for a looong time.)

If you're a member of a House playing regularly is rewarded with a "salary" (I think) and promotions plus "loyalty" which decays if you don't play for a while. It was all posted a long time ago and things may have changed, it won't be in at the start now either.

I always found it a curse in WoT, it forced you pretty much to play almost every tank and you always stood there missing cash
It was a good plan for WG to get players to buy cash or cash tanks though

I think the First Win if the Day bonus should be a flat amount. It never changes and doesnt matter how good you did. Have it be once per mech would be a good way to get people to try out different mechs.

I'm always up for a bonus, whether it is the first win of the day, the first win in that mech of the day, the hour of power bonus, or just plain old bonus XP and CBill time-o-day/day/days/weekends.

For the XP system, as far as I understand it is a trickle down system. Or, you get XP for the chassis you are using, then a portion of that is general XP that can be used on all chassis. Your pilot doesn't get XP. Instead you get a specialization point every time you reach a certain level of skill(s) in a chassis.

Example: Complete match, get X amount of xp for use on the Hunchback you used. Some portion of X is general xp, which you can use on the HUnchback or your Catapult. When you unlock/research a set of skills (like, a row or branch or something) for a specific chassis then you get 1 point for your pilot which is used on various specializations in the Scout, Assault, Command (I don't think there's a Command anymore though) pilot trees.

Personally, I would prefer just a "First Win of the Day" or "Multiplier Weekends/Day" over the per Mech/Chassis system, simply because it makes me feel like I don't miss out on anything if: I don't have a lot of mechs or don't want to use a specific mech right then.
