one thing that really really really bugs me is that whenever i rbing up the score screen or map in game, the throttle decay kicks in.
this makes it so annoying in cw to walk back up to the front lines as its nice to check the screens repeatedly to keep track of whats happening. its a huge pain. id really love if this was changed. or is there a deeper reason why this has to be in place?

You can disable it in options, as well as other things like that arrow for leg direction.

sorry i was unclear.
sometimes, no, MOST of the time, when i hit 0 to keep running at max speed, and then press tab to bring up the score screen or B for the map, my speed will go back to zero kph. in other words, i cannot keep running and check scores/map at the same time.
since this does not happen 100% of the time but only ...like 80% or so.. i suppose it is a bug and not design?

It seems to only happen the first time each match for me. So probably a bug.

It's a bug that's been there forever. It even used to happen before we had throttle decay, where you'd be rocking along at 100% throttle, open the map/scoreboard, and suddenly stop.

I've heard that it only happens when you have an other window open (like your browser) and switch between windows while waiting for a match etc.
Could very well be it. Now that I've been paying attention to it, it really does seem like my throttle no longer goes down when checking the sub-screens.

If you're on a signle monitor, try switching to full screen and see if that helps. I know that I don't have this issue.

I've never had this issue. I play full screen. I sometimes have other windows open in the background. I have throttle decay off.
