Stalker 4N, Top Dog thunderbolt, battlemaster 1S, wolverine 6K, Firestarters, Ravens. Lots to choose from, just look for mechs that have 25% energy range quirks/high mounts and you are set.

Id personally drop the Mauler - its a great mech, but imo CW really, really favours high mounted hardpoints because you need to trade for ages with one mech to get good scores, and i dont find facetime dakka works well at all.

BNC-3M, SHD-2K, BJ-1X, BJ-1X is a good CW deck. Or swap the BNC for a Stalker or Battlemaster and upgrade the SHD to a 65 tonner.

Slightly more specifically on topic:

Ravens / Firestarters / Jenners / etc. (preference based, all 35 ton lights are good in their own way)
Blackjacks
Shadow Hawks (2K, possibly others now theyve been buffed)
Griffin-2N (ECM, its not a great CW mech other than that though)
Wolverine-6K
Thunderbolts
Jagers (DD is great if you like Dakka, due to high mounts, others are good too)
Grasshoppers (5P and 5H)
Battlemasters
Stalkers
Banshees

I'm doing well with ballistic Maulers and Jagers, and anything with a 25% energy range quirk.

i know the mauler is a bit sittuational, on boreal volt u usualy get bad results but on maps like grimm porterico and vitric u can do verry well with it, to ilustrate i bring 330 ammo and i usualy use it all..

the grashoper 5H do that seems like a good idea i just made a smurfy of it after looking at the quirks,
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3490d4bb71f8a98

i'm thinking of buing it tnx for advise

Maulers can deliver a lot of damage but more often than not it is really simple to shoot their side torsos when they try to get into position. If your piloting can compensate then sure, that thing hits very hard. If not, go for something else. Black Knights and Enforcers have very solid hitboxes and that can give you a lot of extra survivability.

My best IS mechs in CW. Well my scout chassis (Spider 5V and Firestarter A), because they are fast and at any hot location where they have to be! Qick support (uav, narc and arty/airstrike). Also nice kill stealers Posted ImagePosted Image .

i find it the only mech that can stop a orgenised puch, but yes on a assault its painfully slow and gets poked to dead often. but mowing down 3 full hp timbers when they try to get around the corner you hold down makes it all worth it...

And it really sucks to be facing that beast, trust me :-) Mauled into pieces within seconds... Mauler is the IS assault I respect the most because of that, nothing can match its damage potential. On the other hand, one must be a skilled assault pilot to make up for that slugishness. Heavy hitters get prioritized.

yea to use it full potential you need to get in to cover (for lrms and flanking) at a botle neck, that way focus fire is less of a problem and if u make your victims waver you block the entire pouche

I used the MAL-MX90 as my 4UAC-5 ride instead, and did very well this weekend with it. One thing I learned is that it is smart to drop in that when others are dropping with the META mechs. It's basically a DE-AGGRO buff as I believe the veteran players automatically concentrate on them.

This is a little less known, but Centurion-AL is great energy mech post patch, if anyone still has it.
