rushed over here from twitter to see load outs and buy the Collector's edition. nuts it's not gone live yet.

When I first bought the battletech board game way back in 1994 in elementary school. i painted an archer bright orange and would lug the box and it's fold out mats to school with me everyday so that myself and about 5 friends could stumble our way through the game during recess. we played one mech a person and I always fielded my bright orange Archer.

I can't wait to snuggle myself down into that command couch and hear the lock chime.

Yup. Archer cockpit has always been low and forward.

Yes, BattleTech Archer always had it there in a departure from the Macross Destroid.

Hm.. when the arms are in normal "combat" positon their weapons will be at cockpit level which is good.

I'm not really familiar with the Archer

Is anyone else worried at how close it looks to the original though?
