Apparently FASA did not decide where the cockpit was going to be back in the day. but given all the other art, and the Phoenix Archer having a low mounted, forward cockpit, this is pretty much the canon cockpit placement.
This one here is probably the only picture that i can find that depicts it having the Destroid Spartan cockpit.


Also in Mechwarrior 4, but it is given handless gun-arms that looks like it belongs on a Mad Dog. (and no LRM shield)

All this waiting for the actual announcement, knowing that steam is going to be the flavor of the day instead, is killing me.

I am so wanting to find out exactly what the variants are going to be. Sarna has too many to choose from.

Is the stock going to be 4M 4E?

Is there going to be a 5M version with Narc?

Will those variants with only LRM15 have only 2E?

And what exactly is the engine cap.

I am so going to buy this, I just hope that it is different enough from the 3xLRM15 Orion and Awesome

FASA was always inconsistent with art, but the 3025 TRO, the lore description, and evne the original lead mini all are low,.
