It's got enough variants and even the stock 8 ERSL+1 MPL sounds quite fearsome for a 25 ton mech. I have a feeling dropping the MPL down to a ERML is going to be a standard option though.
Though I also hope for the Griffin IIC and Shadowhawk IIC... And with the Marauder, Warhammer, and Rifleman releases... The IIC variants of those. Though only 2 timeline variants exist for the Rifleman IIC, Warhammer IIC, ShadowHawk IIC, and the Griffin IIC... The Maruader IIC is worse with only one variant... But 3 ERPPCs!
Not that it matters, the Highlander IIC, Orion IIC, and Hunchback IIC only has a single timeline variant as well... So PGI get to work on extra variants already!

The Hunchback gets it's Ballistics only poking out slightly or not at all, why can't some other mechs get this treatment? It just looks weird and it's way too long compared to the original art. It should stick out only as far as the Ballistic weapon does on an Atlas' right torso. Which is to say not too much.
Longer cannons only look normal on mechs that were somewhat built around it like the Blackjack, Jagermech, Shadowhawk, Hollander, and so forth. And even then, other mechs built around ballistics have stubbier cannons built right into the arm/torso instead of sticking right out of it, like the Hunchback, Centurion, Dragon and the Awesome's torso PPCs.

This is so hilarious. The year is soon 2016, everywhere they try to sell us 4k monitors and every modern smartphone got hardly discernable pixels - but yet, in MWO you get the feeling of the year 2000 back again.
Rejoice!
And too bad that they cancelled special geometry. Some mechs really looked awesome and made it worthwhile to buy a package.
And to top it off: as always, the special camo is "special". And not always in a good way...

Messenger (lightning): Jenner is the fastest 35 tonner in game and fastest clan light mech in game. One of the variants also is a narcer, but anyway, due to it's fleet foot and light weight it's a messanger.
Boom Box (Speakers): Reference to hunchback IIC's shoulders, if like they are boom boxes (and since UAC 20's pair... they sure do go boom!), also kinda looks like a boom box is on it's shoulders.
The Hunter (Bow and arrow): Orion is a hunter/ archer. So it matches over to here (which also has duel large lasers ER's, LRM 20, and Gauss. So it's also a long range mech as well).
The Undertaker (cross): Highlanders burial manoeuvre as you mentioned.

You mean like in the fashion that the "special" camo is locked to the mech and can't be replaced? So you're stuck with snowcapped mountains but at least you can change the color.
sigh

Designwise, i like all of them, surpisingly i like the jenner the most, the cockpit really got the oldschool vibe going on while the mech looks like the typical MWO fresh interpretations!

Was that info from the twitch stream or something? I thought that newer mechs were getting special camo instead of special geo so they aren't locked in. Doing a different default camo for one variant being easier than updating all the camo patterns to accept the special geometry sort of thing.

It's unique and iconic, slapping vanilla chicken legs on it, makes it so... Boring.
The only issue i have with the IS Jenner's legs is that the animations are terrible (but that's true for a lot of mechs.)
