I can be known as the Boombox?
Do I get to choose my own tunes when I get a kill?

Nope.
My Oxide runs an XL280, endo, ferro. To fit 4 SRM4, 5 tons of ammo.
So I can run 6 cSRM6 with 4 tons of ammo with no problem. But since clan ferro is lighter I can probably run 6 cSRM6 with 4.5 tons of ammo.
Now it will run hot but it's alpha generates 28.2 heat (more like 24 if you don't invoke ghost heat) with just built in doubles that means you can alpha twice and run off to cool down without much trouble.
This is not an anti light build. It's an anti assault an anti heavy assassin mech.
I just realised my mistake. I was using the Adder as a placeholder and it has two hardlocked cDHS. Still, even with that correction it's rather pathetic. You're better off with a smaller payload and more ammo.
cEndo-chassis = 2 tons
Max cFerro armour = 6 tons
______________________
Base tonnage = 8 tons total
cSRM6 = 1.5 tons (six of them = 9 tons)
ammo = 4 tons
JJ = 0.5 tons
_________________________________
Current tonnage: 8 + 9 + 4 + 0.5 = 21.5
Remaining tonnage for engine: 35 - 21.5 = 13.5 tons
13.5 tons = cXL270 (134.3 kph)
So yeah, 134.3 kph, really really hot, and only capable of doing a maximum of 400 damage per match ignoring crits. 400 rounds of SRM ammo is only 11 shots. Expect a lot of sub-200 matches. =P

Have been toying with the idea myself, but, after looking at the Ammo constraints, I have considered perhaps 4 x CSRM 6, and 2 CSRM 4, you lose some Alpha, but pick up another ton of ammo. Could also drop to an XL 265, and gain another 1/2 ton of ammo, jumpjet, etc, and only lose 3 kph.

Looks like all the equipment will be Clantech, including engine

Thanks. That makes sense. But it also means I'm going to be running stock engines and only spending the c-bills for different engines if absolutely necessary.

Just gonna mimic my Oxide build with an extra SRM 4, So 5 SRM 4's with 6 tons of ammo and big of an engine as I can get
2 Alphas to the back will kill just about any mech if shot in the back

problem with that is , that PGI will most likely do what they did to us in wave I , II and of course III - let you play for 4 weeks, then nerf them, with some mechanic...after the outcry of the community.

Because that would be stupid.
They can sit in the "sad corner of terrible ghost heat while running stock" with the Nova Prime and the War Hawk Prime.
I actually do pretty good with both of those though, so I can't complain too much.

SRM damage is 2 per missle, so 4 tons of ammo give you an maximum damage potential of 800.

I'm sure your preorder bonuses convinced a few people to buy in July rather than December, but I guarantee it's nowhere near the amount of people that looked at what you can no longer get and closed their wallet between Aug 1st and forevermore.
Maybe the genius handling the marketing can ask why Wal Mart doesn't advertise in July what kind of awesome bonus stuff you could have got if you purchased on boxing day. "If you bought this PS4 on boxing day it could have come with 4 extra free games but now you can buy the same PS4 with no extra games for the same price!!!"
Here's some marketing 101 tips from a friendly consumer who has spent way too much on FTP games.
1) Keep your preorder bonuses active for the entire period of time leading up to the release. This will get you more sales rather than turning away potential buyers for the 4 months leading up to release.
2) Keep the preorder bonuses to cosmetic items only. This will get you more sales because people will have a much easier time disregarding some cosmetics they missed out on rather than unique mech variants. Better overall sales for years after release.
3) For heavens sake stop advertising preorder bonuses that are impossible to get now. See my Wal mart example above... I shouldn't even need to say this.
Now that PGI convinced me I'd be an idiot to buy the origins pack now I will just have to see if the game can keep my interest without shiny new mechs until the next preorder packs come... or I might get bored again and miss that preorder window and repeat the cycle until they've lost another player (the kind that doesn't hesitate to spend a lot of money under normal circumstances).
Yep this is the exact reason I didn't buy. I was away for a while and missed the deal, when I found out that preordering no longer got you the special variants so I didn't care anymore. There is just no point in doing it. Plus those special variants will be sold for Cbills in the future so nuts to them.
