Neg- sorry for that. But it's only for at the day- so 4th variants from upgrades will not occur...

No worries.
I should tell you that the value of packages are still decent without the early purchase awards and the higher tier the pack the better value per 20/ 30 dollar...
For eg paying the first 30 dollars is getting 3 light mechs (or 4 if you got early purchase). your next 30 atm from hunchback will resault in 3 heavies [which will have the skins you got unlocked on them], and another 30 gives 3 assaults. again you get the skins and more faction content.
not saying you SHOULD purchase it, it is your money afterall, it depends if you want them or not...
few cool things is a orion IIC can mount twin gauss/ UAC 10 on the same side torso while a highlander IIC does the same in it's arm. Both look good for missile platforms and energy platforms too since 3/4 of them are made up variants.
However you can spend the money on say other products in this game... who knows, maybe the Clan Ghost Bear Kodiak is the next assault? that may be a bit more worth the buck.
Edit: or spend it somewhere else.
It is your money afterall, and you have to think about if you actually want the mechs you are buying or not. Or are you buying it only for early purchase bonus (which in this case is ONLY the 4th variants.)

you definetly SHOULD tell him, that these double balistics are the Early Adopter ones, and he will _not_ get them.

Hunchback also has double ballistics ya know...
But forcing people to buy stuff they may regret is quite bad, it leaves them with a sour after taste among many other things

with removable JJs.
Up/down-gradeable Endo.
Up/Down-gradeable Ferro.
Clan HS size savings.
Clan ST XL savings.
These mechs already beat Omni hands down.
Orion will put most if not all 75s in their place.
HGN maybe not so.
HBK IIc with JJs, beats SHC & SCR.
These will be fun. No matter your objective.

You will have that, but it will be the weapons that will also make the difference, from being lighter and fewer slots. Even with its max range (not optimal range) the C-ERLL is still more the lite LL, or an even better medium laser due to range and damage and only weighs 1 ton..
The sore point on the Orion will be the low hanging weapon points.

Shadowcat - lighter, faster, jumps higher, 2 ERPPCs, ERLLs or LPLs AND comes with ECM
Stormcrow - tougher, faster, better hardpoint variety
Nova - with the correct side torso omnipods has pretty high weapon mounts, is faster, and has better JJ capability (I think?)
To take advantage of the high shoulder mounts, both sides, you have to compromise so much speed, armour etc especially if you want to run ballistics.
SadCat doesn't have 6+ E mounts, nor can it mount 20+DHS.
SadCat is sad for a reason, which the Hunch isn't.
Crow will likely be tougher (hitboxes more friendly to that 60% damage reduction, more IS+A), but weapon wise they'll be similar, with the Hunch jumping and MORE higher mounts. Hunch can also do Dual Dakka effectively, and mount up to 1 heatsink in the engine, and legs, with dynamic slot allocation; better for ammo.
Nova VS Crow is a sad joke at first glance. As many hardpoints as it needs (6E-8E is ideal, no need for 12), dynamic slot allocation, superior 255XL for no additional cost. Add Endo, upgrade engine.
Quirks do play a part, and might make it more durable on paper, but needing to expose so much of his torso to shoot his gorilla arms while the Hunch can stay hull down, means the Hunch won't take as much damage.
Also Dual UAC10 with 255 engine, with 1000 damage worth of ammo and 2 ERMLs.
No other Clam Medium can do that.
Hunch exceeds almost all those options at nearly every role. It's going to be good. Unquirked, no less.

The HBK IIC probably won't flat out beat the SCR; they'll perform in different roles. The SCR will remain tougher (excepting hulldown firing anyways), and at it's speed it'll sport more firepower.
But yeah, the HBK IIC is going to be a very strong mech.
What's less certain is the Orion and the Highlander. Insufficient hardpoints is an issue, as is the very mixed loadouts. The Orion isn't going to be stomping all over Timberwolves, who'll still have better hitboxes and already have very ideal equipment options and effectively removable jump jets with any combination of hardpoints you may want.
I'm sure they won't be bad mechs, but have realistic expectations of them.
The Orion's going to sport roughly half the TBR's hardpoint count, and t he poor Highlander is pretty much identical to the Orion. Sure, it'll have lighter/smaller clan weapons on a 95t chassis, but it won't be able to mount many weapons at all.
What's ironic is what would make the TBR a godlike machine is being able to downgrade it's engine to a 300 or 325XL, because it's got the hardpoints to use that tonnage. All you're going to be able to do with the HGN and ON1 is... put a big engine in it.
