I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the reasons they chose to go with the IIC pack instead of another Omnimech pack.

I'm not seeing an issue here, in fact the in game model looks closer to any previous concept art to date in my opinion. I'm still crying about the Enforcer in game model.

Yeah as Malckovich said it's really close to the concept art.. the gun arm is a bit shorter (could just be perspective) and the arm bits are black instead of colored like the art.. but outside of that?

Do you even know what the words "tall" and "slender" mean? The very concept art you put in your first post is does not look "tall and slender" to me.

The head and arms are pretty different from the concept art, but everything else looks pretty close. Sadly, the concept art is pretty much always better than the final in game model. Some of the older mechs it looked like they were at least trying to get close to the concept art, but a lot of stuff over the last year appears to be phoned in. Only reason the Highlander IIC doesn't look all that bad is because they reused assets from an older mech that actually was pretty well modeled in game.

But isn't the point of the IIC weaponry is that they're repurposed Inner Sphere mechs now redesigned and upgraded to Clan standards?

Then again, "upgraded to Clan standards" in this game means getting machine gun-nerfed.

"Ner-ner-ner-ner-ner-nerf!"

So of course it's going to look similar to the existing Highlander. It's the same damn chassis!

I think it looks great. I'm happy with what they did with the right arm. It was too big in the concept art. I know that looks cool and all but it was going to catch too much fire. I think what they have in there looks great. I'm more excited for this thing now.

It looks fine. The head and right arm change is an improvement, in my opinion
(I do remember lots of people b*tching about the head and the giant arm, back when the concept was released, so that's kind of funny, how it turned around)

If you guys want to see a completely borked concept-3d transition, look no further than the Quickdraw.
