How about something nice to remember pre steam days?

A Veteran hanging item would be sweet.

Just wondering if you guys were aware that you made a mistake on the steam page for the min requirements GFX set. Those are CPU's you listed and not GFX chipsets.

remember, just because it's a mushroom cloud doesn't mean it's a nuke. any sufficiently large explosion will cause a mushroom cloud. additionally, per the lore, nukes used on a planet's surface are outlawed by the Ares Conventions (yes, they have their own Geneva Conventions), as are any other WMDs.

Orbtial Strikes are also outlawed, hence why the Smoke Jaguars getting pissy and glassing Edo on Turtle Bay with their flagship ended up having the entire Inner Sphere team up to completely wipe out their clan.

so, yeah, it's probably a Long Tom Strike, and i can only imagine how it's going to feel being on the recieving end of one, given that awesome shockwave effect. if knockdown ever comes back, you KNOW that's going to land people on their asses.

Hey I just wanted to point this out about the Steam video for the Heavy Mech Performance pack.

The announcer states the "Timber Wolf C(S) variant comes stock with Two Large Pulse Lasers and 3 Medium Pulse Lasers," but if you look at the Timber wolf video while he is saying this.
The video they captured is a Timber Wolf C(S) variant that has 2 lg pulse and 3 normal ER Med Lasers.

Can anyone confirm if the Timber Wolf C(S) Variant comes stock with the 3 med-pulse lasers the announcer States,,, or is the video capture the real mech that you receive, and it indeed comes stock with normal(Not pulse) ER Med Lasers???

Sounds like some one needs to do some video editing on your AD Campaign for Steam. Just a little touch up on the sound file or the video its self if the Mech advertised has The ER Med lasers or the Med Pulse?

Regardless of whatever lasers it has, Some One should probably alert the video editing department of this and tell them to patch the video asap...

I actually like the trailer, the voice/music at the beginning gave me goosebumps. Very few trailers ever do that.

I also noticed it was 4v4... maybe, just maybe, you'll be adding that too???

gamemodes on giant non-symmetrical Battletech feel maps instead of that repetitive nonsense on awful CoD arenas?

Then I'll be back to MWO after 2 years break.

Funny you mention CoD. I just fired up BF4 last week and quite frankly, twitch FPS's feel FAR different (read: BAD) vs MWO. Loads of game modes, but in reality only 2-3 are ever used. Loads of ways to kill, but in reality it's usually just guns/c4/assault vehicles that kill. Huge maps, yet the fighting is always concentrated in a few [central] spots - only respawns disrupt that.

57GB worth of material I had to pay for, yet I like MWO better. In any case, don't let the door hit ya...

MWO is not in the first page of the shop, not even in the third or fourth, what the heck, it is in the last one of Free To Play....

I really hope they didn't put all their hopes in this steam release because this way it won't attract many new players....

1) its on main page - u cant see it becouse its dinamic page, reload steam
2) its on popular new games

So there was a weird period of downtime AFTER the steam launch, about 10 minutes.

When services came back up, our merry band of Davions found that Tuukayid was up for grabs again...?

by the time we finished our one battle against the attacking clans, the planet selection was back to normal.

I share this with you so that you know about "3kayid: The secret war"

I know I don't have to use the steam but I like things to be sort of centralized.

Now my question, can I copy-paste the folder rather than re-download the game? (downloading big files will take a long time so I'm thinking to paste the current MWO files to the "...\Steam\steamapps\common\" folder)

Last time I tried with other game and the steam did not recognise the pasted files. Planetside2 and the Dota2 I tried to a friend's computer, they sstill need to re-download the whole game. What happened was:
1. Clicked the Play on the game.
2. Stopped the download progress.
3. Copy-Pasted the folders and deleted the files in "downloading" folder.
4. Restart the steam, and didn't work.

(Or do I just need to Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache? didn't know that even exist)

Try doing this delete the game from your library first then copy your game to your steam library common folder then add it again to your library it will then try to discover existing files thats how im getting mine to work tho its still detecting right now

Update:
so after detecting im only .2GB left from running the game
