Comparison:

Lol they be hiding the hunchies and highlanders feet... but other than that they look GOOODDD Posted Image

I thought hunchie was going to be really boxy, but they made him real sleek.

Jenner IIC not much, thought it'd look that way.

Orion, funky gauss rifle and I'm glad, though, that the hitboxes have changed Posted Image

And highlander... still ugly, them arms though can be good shields.

Discuss!

I'll be exporting their Scale...when exams are done.

Damn poor timing for me. As a matter of fact...writing one AS the IICs come out. Hurray...UI design...

Pretty large missile pods for the Jenner, wonder if the second arm one mounts below? Otherwise, nice high mounts.

Hunch got pretty nice torso lasers, unlike Mr Gargles. Nipple Cannons VS Navel Cannons.
ACs are beautifully placed, right at the cockpit.

The others...I don't care about. I don't own them.

I put up a comparison to see the changes between the two models for the mechs.
Going to do some quick photoshopping here in a bit to show them side by side.

I guess I could also go that route...I was going to try the 4 side by side...but it would make a lot more sense to put the Original VS the 2C.

I wonder if I can get all 8 without crashing...

I never realized it before, but the old Highlander has such a fat head. They should have called it the Headlander. Is there a helopad on that thing?

They look pretty darn good.

I'm not sure I like how the hard points are done in the Hunch IIC. Its just the large square unpainted plates for the ballistic mounts look kind of awkward. I'll say this though...If it allows multiple hard points to fit/stack in that small area, I kind of want something like that on the standard Hunchback instead of the weird weapon stack up it currently is doing.

Also, I'm glad to see the Jenner IIC done up with the "proper" leg design for it's chassis type (non-humanoid).

I'm still wondering what the hitboxes will be like on that orion IIC. I hope that the real orion isn't that much worse.

This one's much, much better. You can really tell the differences here:

Posted Image

Last but not least a hunchback comparison (bad comparison imo, but still, can see differences):

How about these?

I'm kinda sad they removed the "do not use" oxide variant...

Eh, i still prefer the Normal Humanoid legs on the Jenner.

It looks quirky and interesting.
The only problem i have is that the animation is really lame. The legs are always too far away from the center of gravity, i think it should bend the legs inward and put them directly under the mech while running.
Posted Image
Overall, i'd also like if it didn't put the legs so far in front of the mech while running.

Hmm, i should now try doing a more better comparison now, i'm rushed for time so cant do a good photoshop at the moment.

Yeah, the Orion IIc with its head/cockpit offset like that seems to be one of the most different looking, and the Jenner IIc with the chicken legs being up there. The hunchie though, at a glance you might mistake it for a 4SP.

Yeah, and then backup real quick as the ballistics equipped on the HBK-IIC rips off half of your front armor :)

I'd like to see now the other variants of each one, and the jump jets animations too for the jenner, hunchback and highlander.

The variants most will use will probably be any energy variant for all of them, or any mech that can pack at least 4 missile weapons with lots of ammo.

I know I'll be enjoying the Missile variant of the HBK-IIC with a Streak 24 along with BAP, jump jets, and 2 medium backup lasers or a Tag and a large laser.

I'm happy knowing that I can now mount some pretty impressive weapons with clan tech, not just the usual cheese meta builds, but something real cool, like 2 srm 6 and 2 lrm15 with 2 mediums, and more.

I'm sure we'll get a teaser trailer in the next couple of days, with a sneak preview from NGNG the night before IIC Christmas.

I feel the same way, I like that most of these variants aren't shoehorned into laser vomit. The Orion has always had that appeal to me, so I'll be sorely tempted to upgrade at least to that. I have to admit I'm a bit excited to play around with the IICs.
