Congrats on your apparent awesomeness, but I have found the Marauder to be a relatively well balanced mech compared with other IS heavies. It's good but not comp. I have yet to see anyone score 1000 or more damage in one with most scores being in the 200 to 500 range.

3/4 lots of damage but jack **** for kills.

I'm tier 3 and in my mediocrity if I can get 300 dmg and 4 kills in a locust then you bloody well can.

But you are here crying about the Marauder when you spread damage this badly. You really don't deserve to be tier 1.

Instead of crying about something, go out and learn to focus fire, when you start having games with minimal damage but lots of kills I will start giving a damn about what you say. Until then your posts appears to be nothing more than a arrogant crybaby that is sulking because he can't farm damage to inflate his epeen.

It seems just as tanky as any other heavy to me, it's just that it's CT is really narrow and hard to hit which is why I blast it's arms and sides off if I can.

This is just an example of how widely opinions will vary in regards to a mech being "good". In a thread calling it "op", we have some calling it junk. That's why you ALWAYS take an opinion on a mech or build with a grain of salt and never let someone tell you that a build or mech you enjoy is "bad". For those players "bad" usually equates to not min/max on paper.

I am not new player and i say this game is pay to win...

I saw a MAD with 13% getting hit with full ERPPC hit going to 12% on ALL RED OPEN COMPONENTS. Another hit to 11% and then it suddenly finally die with 10% left with last hit.

That's 15 PPD x 3 + splash damage...

There was no way that any mech with the same profile could survive that........

SEEN plenty of times that a MAD TANKS TOO MUCH for a HEAVY

If true, and Marauder is P2W, why are people not winning?
Should they got a refund because you think it is P2W and they are not winning?

Will it still be P2W when it is out for C-bills?

While your claim is that you are not new, you do post like it.

Well... Where are the replays? Otherwise, if there's no proof, the "i saw it plenty of time" is worth nothing... Curiously, i play Marauders, and mine seem to get killed way more easily than the ones you pretend to have encountered... Maybe i didn't get the same version as others?

If you hit a destroyed component, only 50% of the damage transfers to the next one. For example, if you shoot a red CT Marauder through its destroyed right torso, only 50% of the damage will be transferred to the CT, potentially saving the Marauder. That's why good Stalker pilots are so damn hard to kill.

Also, Clan mechs frequently die with around 10% HP remaining, and their hitboxes are not even that good.

I think Mad is an example of interesting design with built in tradeoffs.

Super tanky from the front, very squishy from the side. You can make XL glass cannons with decent facetank durability but instant death to flankers, or a very tanky asymmetric mech with lowish firepower and/or slow engine.

There is no build that gives you all the good stuff, but great potential in several areas if you specialize.

Just how mechs should be, and no it's not "too tanky" in a general sense, it's just that the tankiness is focused to the front profile.

I just want a Marauder owner to tell me if that lil slot in the back of the CT is VHS or Beta.
Spend a lot of time back there and if there is an in game movie...

OP some mechs are meant to Brawl, so they can, until people whine and PGI "balances" them.

Balance is boring. Balance is safe. Don't try to go nose to nose with something meant to be a Tank. This is where that bit about thinking man's shooter comes in.

Just 2 cents from a guy that runs IS mediums and lights because Assaults feel like easy mode.
