Forever pending...
I shall go to the top of the moutain, then take a bath in the cold lake before catching fishes with my bare hands. I shall do this for 25 days before returning home a new man, stronger, calmer, at peace. Then I shall blast everything up with anger and bad words offensive to other players' female-parent !

Great read though. And thanks for doubling the armor everywhere (or so it seems), It would be very bad to get one-shoted in an Atlas after 2 minutes of gaming...

An avarage day in PENDING

I press my F5-Key gingerly, hoping that this time it will be different. To no avail. Still, the same old picture. That yellow glow, mocking me by giving me false hope. For hours, days, maybe even weeks - I can't quite remember - it has been the same.
Sometimes I hope for the yellow notification to turn into a red one, reading "REJECTED". I could safely sleep until the promised day. That day of salvation that is supposed to be so near, yet so far away as I can hardly see it through the yellow haze on my gaping monitor screen that tints my darkned room.

Sometimes, when I pass out after what seem to be ages I awake and see it glowing green, only to realise that I have logged off. It wants to see me suffer, that wicked button!
I log in back again, see the familiar yellow shimmering button, spelling out "PENDING" yet in my mind telling me more unpleasant things.
I move my finger on the F5-Key, remember the definition of madness and continue to do what I have been doing for all my recend memory of my life....

my pending button turned blue with the 'Accepted' status last night in my dreams, not green...

agreed.. especially with the Atlas' giant ol' head. I hope the entire globe of an Atlas' head doesn't count as a head hit, I figure it probably will, and that'll be tough to take. I think the majority of Atlases in the game will probably go down to head hits just due to the mech's head size. maybe the devs will take mercy on the mech. we'll see.
