Woah, where did you see that? Streak 2's were confirmed as planned by Devs, but 6's shouldn't be around yet based on canon...

I don't even know what colour the good one is anymore. It's all just yellow to me.

Looking at the model for the Atlas, from the up-close picture, I am going to guess we have a new variant being confirmed. From Sarna:

AS7-RS - A Succession Wars era take on the Atlas II's weapon loadout, the AS7-RS replaces the stock AS7-D's larger autocannon and missile launchers with an Autocannon/10, LRM-15 andSRM-4, and trades the four medium lasers for a Large Laser mounted in each arm. The swap leaves the armor levels, heat sinks and ammunition bays unchanged.

This explains the SRM4 clearly visible, and a 3-volley LRM-15 would show up visually as 5 missiles (similar to the 2-volley LRM-20 on the stock Atlas showing as 10 missiles).

He failed to mention what happened to the dragon he was fighting when the atlas appeared.

I believe he lost, not won.

how is it that a gauss rifle to the head didn't 1shot the Atlas? I'm honestly not complaining, mind you, because I don't really like the concept of 1shotting a 100ton mech (or any mech for that matter.. alpha strike 1shots are different)

that was a GREAT story, and it makes me want to play all the more. I'm literally 'X'ing' out the days on my calendar every evening in a countdown to 'Founders Day.'

seriously though.. please write more of these stories, pleasepleaseplease?

Tey doubled the armor on the mechs, so instead of 9 pts of armor it is 18 pts, vs gauss 15 pts damage leaving 3 pts of armor left...

Didn't the recovered lost tech have reactive armor? That might explain it.

They also tend to team damage me rather often.

Wonderful amount of information here...

Streak SRM-6? Check.
XL-Engines dying to losing left/right torso? Check.
Arms still working without the associated torso? Check.
Damage spreading to inner components? Check.
Surviving/limping with one leg taken out? Check.

Everyone who wants to get into beta? Not check. Just deliciously and mercilessly teased.

I did not see SSRM-6 either. But I did see the hunchback SP. (2 missle hardpoints in the RT!)

And I think the Atlas-RS is possible as well. (that is speculation though, it could also just be variable weapons visible in a normal Atlas-D)
