You can easily set up a stock Community Warfare event and the only 'Mechs you can choose are the ones randomly placed into your drop package.

It would be fun, if one-sided in favor of Clans. Most IS stock mechs are already garbage, but up against Clan stock... the combat effectiveness gap would be painful. Still, I'd participate for the lulz.

Just do like Battletech does. One clan star (5 mechs) versus one IS company (12 Mechs).
Killing an IS mech is half the value of killing a clan mech.

I'd set it in 3025... longer TTK, more durable mechs, everything is closer and more aggressive. Also no fracking clans to ruin it.
Clanner fan boys can do their golden century warfare thing with each other as well if PGI can't take the winging from the clanners.
Other alternative would be for the clans to get half as many mechs as the IS. So 2 drops to the IS 4.
