Well, no surprises on Clan mech use, almost everything was Hankyu, Ryoken, Mad Cat, Loki, or Cauldron Born.

I certainly contributed to the Marauder count - after the tonnage bump I was running 3, with a PB Locust as ECM filler.

About 44000 timbys vs about 43000 tbolts, is anyone really surprised?

Edit did more math:Looks like roughly 44000 timbys 40000 ebjs, 32000 hell bringers, 20000 stormcrows, and 21000 cheetahs. The only surprise on this list is the lone adder at 6600 lol. Is only had 43000 thunderbolts to compete with that. The rest are all over the board except for 26000 marauders many of which were being leveled up I'm sure, lol

Edit 2: Forgot a Tbolt and Twolf varient

Lol, I'm still laughing on how the TBR(C) was used the most out of any mech compared against it, seems that timberwolf is still the best ton-for-ton mech out there for the clans... and the public que :)

Which is not a bad thing, it just shows how good and iconic it is in Battletech.

Points per player:
  • Davion: 6826:1601 = 4.26
  • Kurita: 6960:1477 = 4.71
  • Liao: 3602:614 = 5.87
  • Marik: 2796:678 = 4.12
  • Rasalhague: 10403:1905 = 5.46
  • Steiner: 9794:1740 = 5.63
  • ClanSmokeJaguar: 5229:812 = 6.43
  • ClanJadeFalcon: 16252:1974 =8.23
  • ClanWolf: 20742:2704 = 7.67
  • ClanGhostBear: 8351:1269 = 6.58
So with this metric the ones that truly deserve tukayyid and earth are Jade Falcon. And CSJ performed worst of the clans in this event. (Not taking all the other factors in to account, like merc units and longer wait times for IS players)

No alternatives to the holy 5 anyway. No matter how much I love Mad Dogs,Summoners and Novas, none of them are competitive against meta.

Seen a lot of Warhawks as well, surprised they didnt make the spot on the list.

And don't forget the Extra 26,745 Assaults the IS used over the clan for your balance figures

250T dropdeck building vs 240T dropdeck building pretty much puts the largest optimal Clan mech to bring at 75 Tons.

When you look at the first battle: http://mwomercs.com/...yid-statistics/

Compared to Tuk 1, Clans are still doing more friendly damage than IS.
IS has more people, and lastly about 3k short of participants from the first one.

I would say that if you remove the attendance factor, it almost looks the same. (Minus new mechs in the mix)

Interesting and fun was this battle.

Semper Fi

PS I will add Wolf has most people again. Numbers do count.

Clan friendly fire is largely attributed to longer burning lasers, which cause a lot of friendly fire when pilots are forced to torso twist return fire before their own lasers are done with full burn. That and some units playing on the Clan side do not give a f**k about friendly firing their own team as long as the enemy dies faster.

You might want to check your math. If you add up all the thuds on that list it comes out to just over 37000 so they're about the same which is not surprising at all. Personally i'd rather run into a timber instead of a thud and im a clan player.

My unit has pretty much stopped apologizing to each other when we accidentally shot each other because of having to torso twist because we do it so much.

Not much change in the top mechs from the last event. IS needed another 20000 BJ-1X to pull out the win.Posted Image
I played around with my drop deck during this 2nd CW event of the month. I discovered a new love of the KTO-20 SRM4 + Big XL boat.(cool down module) Average 3 kills in it alone per match. BJ-1X still tops, even with twerk nerfs. MAD-5D was another pleasant surprise.

Overall, I had a blast in both recent CW events.

Indeed, the rebalance did not shifted the meta by an inch. Still the same good old mechs all the way + MADs of course. Maybe it is too early to make conclusions for IS, but no hope for anything new on clan side.

That Liao number is easily the most surprising statistic so far. Thanks for the math.

Some fun numbers for sure.

People can't really ***** about the Clans only bringing certain mechs when we have way less choice overall and 2/3rds of them not being competitive.

I feel like I saw a ton of 2 Marauder, 2 BJ drop decks.

They have now nerfed TDR 3 times in a row, when they really don't deserve it.

The EBJ with 8x MPL can now out brawl them, and that isn't even the best that the clans can build.

Same with the STK-4N being nerfed 3 times in a row, so it is now strictly inferior to the WHK.

Every time PGI nerfs the Clans, they nerf the IS top performers too, keeping the performance gap at a static distance.

Sorry Tbolt usage was actually 43046 for the event and 44528 for Timby's so not a huge difference but he was correct about your math.
