It's not something that should be fixed. You're hearing the sounds because someone fired on you from outside range. You want that, because it lets you know you're being hit and lets you figure out where they are firing from.

This is debatable I guess... What's you opinion? I thought of that but not sure it's a feature in fact. If so, what are the threshold points for each then? We know ER max range is 1,350 km. From 1,350 km to what distance you think we should hear it? What I'm pretty sure now is that at 2 km you'll hear nothing.

I can test laser range and damage on testing groungs but not sound. I would need to drop with a friend to test that.

I'll throw this in general discussion, up for debate.

i had my pulses not register last week but this week they're fine.

might have been some traffic issues or loss of packets or lag

Not an issue really. Just someone tickling you from afar and giving away their position for no reason.
