Everyone has been on that team that just completely ignores whoever is trying to co-ordinate and they just run off in different directions to keep getting picked off one by one. Theres a big difference between being new and being new and ignoring everyone else.

I'm guessing these players dont speak english and as a result, dont go through the tutorial, etc, so they have absolutely no idea what they should be doing, and worse, they cant understand the players who are trying to help them...

I'd assume it does. If it doesn't, that's pretty ****** up.

It's all PGI's fault. Instead of creating a universal translator for their in-game VOIP, they are busy doing mech packs and map reworks and balance iterations and new CW (sorry, FW) content.

No, the worst players just happen to be Clan Wolf, whether they speak English or not doesn't seem to be relevant in my experience. And that has been evident this weekend. Can't wait for our contract to be up and out of the faction that has solo players who can't even do 100 damage in 4 Mech's.

The tutorial and in game voip are both relatively new. Plenty of people have done fine without them, so I don't think it would be that big of a deal if you couldn't use them (though you can use voip if others speak your language).

If only we had a commo rose, with community translations available for every language (as many as you can)...

VOIP assumes that everyone speaks the same language and doesn't come out sounding like garbage (static or otherwise)...

So, if you're expecting everyone to be able to speak English 24/7 (or whenever you play), you're asking for trouble.
