They have reached at least a 100 match limit.
This would be beneficial to the cw community and those players alike.

sweeten the deal with an achievement and a few million cbills...

I think CW is much better learning environment for new players than solo drops.

Solo drops are hit or miss. You do something right, you win. When you get outplayed you have little chance of finding out what you did wrong, you are simply dead. There is too little "what if" thinking that improves tactical awareness of players. In solo drops players learn how to move and shoot but that is all. Not a good learning place.

CW, on the other hand, is much better. You learn to move and shoot more because there is move moving and shooting - remember, 4 mechs. You can also see what playing in various ways and taking different approaches leads to and feel the consequences. In double time compared to normal match you learn so much more! Firefights last longer, more tactics is both employed and experienced. Because of that I would go for mandatory CW matches for beginners.

The downside is, how to convince CW-hardened beginner to play solo drops? For many players CW is clearly the superior game mode... myself included.

How about these ones (Some famous tri-D quotes);
"Cannon Fodder life insurance payment"
"Dead Mechs walking"
"Rule #1 You do not talk about CW CLUB." - CW Club
"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansu anymore." - The wizard of Ozawa
"Get busy legging, or get busy ejecting." - The Mechshank Redemption
"I ate his Endosteel with some fava beans and a nice chianti." - The silence of the LAM's
"I see dead mechs." - The sixth Dropdeck
"Just keep swimming" - Finding Mechmo
"CW is like a box of Choclates. You never know who you will drop with" - Forrest Mech - For the 1st solo PUG drop in CW
"Pilot who catch Arctic Cheetah with Flamer accomplish anything." - Karate Comando

Bonus for the first completed Defence of a different faction than your own;

"CW call home!" - CW: Extra Mechstrial

Bonus for destroying a Gate generator for the first time;

“You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!” - The Lyran Job

Further bonus for being the first to die with under 100 damage over all 4 mechs
"To call you stupid would be an insult to stupid pilots!" - A Mech called Wanda

Dude - CW can be REALY SAD experience. Nobody likes to lose. Problem of CW - you not simply lose like you do in public queue. Most of the time you rolled over and stomped into ground so hardcore and brutally that you even don’t have time to realize what just happened. New players must have more calm environment to learn. Majority of new players still cant move normally without going into things and you propose them to jump into fire. U MAD?
Stress methods woks in real life because – do it or die/be hungry live on street. Videogames FOR FUN and if ppl are getting smashed round after round - they will just go forever and never return.

1- PGI need to limit new players form CW ASAP

2- Want to help – crate second account, jump into tire 5 matches and advertise your unit – recruit plyers and train them tell em what to do and explain things.

It’s just stupid to rely on ordinary CW players to learn them, they will never lose their opportunity to roll over noobs for easy CBL’s

In a normal match, players can spectate after dying to see what other teammates are doing right / wrong, without having to simultaneously pilot a mech and aim the guns. This helps with learning.

In CW, they cant spectate until they have lost all 4 mechs, and probably pissed off all their teammates who are trying to win by being deadweight.
