I spend it on gxp conversion when sales come up so I can master mechs before feilding them.

I am waiting for player owned dropships and jump ships! That would be awesome. Who knows if that's ever going to happen though.

Either way they have to add new premium content.

Decals are coming soon. I will be dropping some MC there for sure.

Wait for sales, look at Mastery Packs and Hero mechs of chassis you know you are going to like.

Mechbays can often be earned in challenges and in CW, so unless you see a good sale on them those might be places to check first.

Well the best way to get mechbays is via ranking up on the galaxy map. I never did it but many players faction hop to get the easy low rank mechbays....

Sticking with a faction is very rewarding in the long run though.

Yep, faction level 2 and 6 get you mech bays and it only requires 2,120 and 31,800 loyalty points to get there. Which if you play a few games a day you can do in a week or two. I have level 6 or higher in all factions except Liao which I will get to at some point. After that though it starts taking a lot longer, level 10 is 145,750, 14 is 318,000, 18 is 689,000.

I've been saving MC for about 2 years now waiting for that to come out...(well actually I guess 1.5 since Clans have only been out about that long.) And it will probably end up releasing for real money first too

Sales aren't typically announced until ~24 hours before they begin, and they're typically tied to weekend events. Usually there is a good xmas/new years sale with a good event, so sit tight if you can. As for the best things to spend MC on, my priority list:

1. Mechbays, nobody has ever had too many mechbays. Yes you can get some for free, but you'll always need more.
2a. Heroes (good ones, some are stinkers so ask around before buying)
2b. Premium Time
3. Mastery Packs (again, ask around because some are far better than others. They are a good value though, but never go on sale)
4. Vanity items
12. Champion mechs (after you master the chassis, the XP boost is pretty much worthless. Better to buy the non-champion variant for cbills).

edit: with the steam release, and a bunch of new players, I don't know if PGI is going to jump right into a big xmas/new years sale. This is a straight up marketing decision, and for the non-steamers, the black friday sale was pretty epic in proportion.
