It does however get more pod space, more high-mounted hardpoints, and more speed/agility (depending on engine).

Clan XL reduces the liability of a big torso, especially after the ST's got extended on the IS Jenner (assuming that the IIC inherits this change).

Nah I think you overestimate the Jenner IIcs potential. If it inherits the typical Jenner I am all CT ness, there is little to worry about from them.

They will be very adept at assassinating the clueless with Regular c-SRM loadouts...

Use SRMs, learn to lead and aim.

Be a threat to all mechs and not just smaller ones.
