[Red Lancer1]

In BattleTech, the Red Lancers are the most elite unit of the Capellan Confederation, the defender of the capital world of Sian, and the personal guard of the Chancellor. In MechWarrior Online, our unit strives to become the best warriors of House Liao while having fun in the process. Our intention isn't to become the largest unit in House Liao as quality matters over quantity. MechWarriors with a play-to-win attitude who may not have all the top tier mechs are encouraged to apply. We allow pilot skills to be developed over time and do not expect you to be an elite player right off the bat.

Who we look for:
- Maturity
- You play for fun, and you think winning is the best form of fun
- You play selflessly as a member of a team
- You're willing to listen to orders, even if you disagree with them
- You're willing to learn and improve your own game
- You're willing to receive performance feedback
- At the same time, you are able to provide thoughtful feedback to other pilots
- You're willing to take command and learn from your failures and success
- You don't mind staying in House Liao on a permanent basis
- You don't mind playing both IS and Clan mechs
- You enjoy competition as we may participate in community-run leagues


Our requirements*
- You have a solid understanding of the game. You know the meta and know why it's the meta.
- You've scored over 1000 kills with over 1.3 KDR (ideally 1.5+)
- You have at least 1 set of mechs in all weight classes fully elited
- You have a microphone and can get on TeamSpeak3
- Your hardware should allow you to run MWO at reasonable frame rates stably (30 fps+)
- Be prepared to engage in 1v1 duels to gauge your current pilot skill

The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The
frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

I deleted my previous comment because I decided to disband my Unit, and would like to apply, but I think the only thing I would have trouble with, regarding the requirements you mentioned are the 1,000 + kills... Though I will have to check my statistics about that.
I do not much care for individual kills, and work more as a team member, helping my team mates I am paired with to bring down an enemy 'Mech and always use voice comms and follow orders, as well as give suggestions that might be forgotten or go unnoticed and also tend to watch everyone's backs (whilst still getting in the thick of the battle) and report on where an enemy 'Mech is and what type it is and if or not if has support (and if it is a sniper or one that focus on LRMs etc)
