Cryengine and problably any other game is capable to do that but MWO dont? Thats what confuses me.

Please tell me how did you change the target colors? I am colorblind and seeing red is a ***** to me in game.
Noticed that. This isn't current.. Must of been the color of the targets at that time.

Settings>Game>Colorblind Friendly Reticle check box, it's at the bottom
ETA: Sorry, I misread, you are looking for target colors, this only helps reticle.
Could you maybe go into your Nvidia settings or AMD settings depending on your video card? You may be able to set up a profile for the game that removes the red channel, or alters it to make it easier for you to see. Just an idea.
And to the original post: Turn off or lower depth of field in the graphics options. It makes everything in the background blurry. Also, TXAA anti-aliasing mode makes everything blurry too. FXAA is good if you have a lower end system, and MSAA is better IMO if you can run it.
I like 2x TXAA mode the most in other games, but in MWO the only TXAA option is too blurry for my tastes.

Multiscreen doesnt have anything to do with scaling.
Try one 1440p again. And u know what I mean.

Also, lordred's Perfect Screenshot Thread has lots of 4K images that are flawless. The game renders fine at high resolution. If its not working for you, its something you are doing wrong.

I play at 1440p and it plays fine. The only thing that doesn't scale is text in the UI as several people have stated.
What exactly is your issue?

There is much of a difference between 1080p or 1440p compared to other Games.
