Iam confused. Iam playing at 1440p and the game looks like its from the 90th.
Why is this game not scaling? I mean its cryengine?!!
Or do I something wrong here?
Any Tips to increase AA-fidelity?

THX for productive answers.

At the moment once you get above a certain resolution the UI just stops scaling upward. I do think they've said they'll be changing this moving forward, around the time the new VR stuff launches in fact. Sit tight, it's (Supposed to be) happening 'soon'

Iam not talking about the UI only. The game itselfs does not scale.
Cryengine and problably any other game is capable to do that but MWO dont? Thats what confuses me.

I'm running it on 1440p 32" and the game, including ui, scales well with the res.(comparison is a 26" 1200p monitor)

Noticed that. This isn't current.. Must of been the color of the targets at that time.

Settings>Game>Colorblind Friendly Reticle check box, it's at the bottom

ETA: Sorry, I misread, you are looking for target colors, this only helps reticle.

Could you maybe go into your Nvidia settings or AMD settings depending on your video card? You may be able to set up a profile for the game that removes the red channel, or alters it to make it easier for you to see. Just an idea.

And to the original post: Turn off or lower depth of field in the graphics options. It makes everything in the background blurry. Also, TXAA anti-aliasing mode makes everything blurry too. FXAA is good if you have a lower end system, and MSAA is better IMO if you can run it.

I like 2x TXAA mode the most in other games, but in MWO the only TXAA option is too blurry for my tastes.

Multiscreen doesnt have anything to do with scaling.
Try one 1440p again. And u know what I mean.

multiscreen does have to do with scaling, as the game has to render at 3x the resolution. If it didn't render at the new resolution, pixels would be reeeeaaaallllyyyy wide.

Also, lordred's Perfect Screenshot Thread has lots of 4K images that are flawless. The game renders fine at high resolution. If its not working for you, its something you are doing wrong.

I play at 1440p and it plays fine. The only thing that doesn't scale is text in the UI as several people have stated.
What exactly is your issue?

Are you trying to play in Windowed mode and not realise that there is a "Full Screen" option in the settings? Or you could just hit Alt+Enter.

There is much of a difference between 1080p or 1440p compared to other Games.
