You keep adding all this crap, and changing the game. WHY DONT YOU TRY FIXING ALT TAB so that people dont have to click buy MC or use task manager

I lolled a little at the anger coming out of the OP.

But he's right, would be nice to be able to alt-tab without having to run another program in the background.

the newest version of DirectX broke alt tab for many of us, and the devs dont give a damn

Location of this button on most keyboards is between the left Ctrl and left Alt.

You know that Alt-Tab is an OS level function and that PGI has nothing to do with it right? Oh, wait no you don't..

Since you seem so overly loud and angry at PGI for not fixing it and didn't mention that it wasn't a problem that everyone experiences in your OP.

That isnt a fix. It's obviously an issue that you have not experienced.

But it is a work around until PGI does fix the issue... if they fix the issue.

I really dont understand what is the problem? Are you trying to say you cant alt tab out of the game? Or are you sick of getting alt tabbed when you wanna buy mc? Or......? For me. Alt tab does not work if there are no active tabs to well... tab out to. Currently my windows key is sticky... spilt hot chocolate on bottom half of keyboard and yea.....
So my optio is just ctrl alt del. To open task manager. And thats my method of alt tabbing if i have no tabs to tab out to until i get another keyboard. Been told i cant buy another keyboard till after xmas.... must be a hint lol.

Ok I will explain it, so those who dont know will.
If you have a program running in the background, you can use the windows key.
If you have no program open in the background, then you must either
1. click buy MC, so the game opens a browser
or
2. ctrl+alt+del to open task manager, so that a program is now running in the background(task manager)

once you perfom #2, then you have a program running in the background, and the windows key THEN will work. If no program running in background, windows key does not work.

Ahh now i get ya. Yea. I have to ctrl alt del. For me. But its no biggy bro. Im sure there is a TON of crap pgi can fix. I think alt tabbing is very bottom of that list.

Would running it in "fullscreen window" mode work? I always find that to be the most smooth and flexible option if you alt-tab a lot.

Then switch back to Dx9.

Fixed it for me.
