Just like the title says, steam launch and overwolf. I was running overwolf before steam launch just fine (well the occasional game freeze). When I switched over to the steam version the game it freezes about 9 out of 10 times.

I never ran it on Overwolf, I just got the Steam version yesterday and I cannot open it, ever. Just freezes up in the launch screen, with the screen staying black. Pretty irritating.

make sure the old install is completely gone, including all reg-files. Steam doesn't like game outside its folder...

two overlays at the same time is a no-go. when i forget to disable overwolf after mwo and launch any steam game, 4 times out of 5 it won't even load to main menu. i think steam might have per-game overlay settings? could just disable overlay for mwo. (assuming valve decided to fix the issue where per-game overlay disable would still load the overlay, just not draw it, which will still cause the conflicts with other overlays and old games)
