We need Bishop Steiner as a community liaison for PGI.
He could channel the forum inputs into something usefull to improve the game and
that Twitter is not the only source Russ looks out for proposals.

Bishop is one of the more reasonable individuals around here, anyway.

It doesnt. Thats not hyperbole, its a proven element of the PGI/player interaction.
There are tons of well thought out, non inflammatory topics in these forums (You know, the official MWO forums) that
PGI could garner a wellspring of seasoned and rational feedback if it wanted to without an unpaid liaison position. That's not in the bag, though.

Well for that I would also suggest McGral, Death and as much as I disagree with him, Ultimatum X, for people that put out well thought out ideas.

I feel like this OP may be the direct result of my recent posts. xD

Its not that 100% of his ideas are agreed with, but its that he can stay level headed and communicate with Russ (who regularly responds to him mind you) and seems to know which issues to bring to Russ' attention while not pestering him constantly about it or posting it in a way that would instantly be ignored (like 90% of complaints on this forum).
Then there's this:

If you look at phase 3 they're giving us most of what we asked for.
Say last few updates.
They improve hitreg when we complained about itit.
They added extra servers we asked for.
They improved wait times people complained like crazy about.
They're working on balance ,daily complaint.
They're increasing ttk. Often an issued.
I think there listening it just takes a lot of time.

2 - it'll be a ton of work, like basically a second job. It's either paid and he's a stooge or free and he's going to burn out
3 - the developers already read the forums and Russ does more than just use twitter
4 - the community would rip him to shreds the first time he didn't get them the pony they want
Other than that: sure, why not.

I think its less that he should be the 'official community liaison' and more just that as far as I'm concerned he's a reasonable person which PGI would benefit from listening and talking to more often. He doesn't even have to do more than what he is now. Look at all the tweets and things he does now on the forums as it is?
Call it an 'unofficial community liaison' if you will. He basically already does it.
