2nd - CN-AH? Really?... Ok i'll miss this part, wont be 100500 who say same thing....
3rd - Even ability to grab some money instead mech doesn't make me happy - 2 millions is too low FOR ME, since someday I has 200....
4rd - As I've told already - give us unique rewards! Ok, let it be cockpit items and other "trash" but make it UNIQUE!

Maybe a different grand prize mech is in order....most of your player base must already own a CN9-AH(L).....Literally anything that isn't already a loyalty mech. Or ensure this is sellable...don't need 3 CN9-AH's (not that I expect to win one)

Well, thanks for the event! Last year I got enough MC to buy 6 Mechbays on sale, let's see how much I will gather this year.
As for the Centurion, I also have Loyalty variant, but I look at it as free C-Bills and Mechbay, though I doubt that I will get it with my luck (Looking at you Timby >.>).
I was planning to buy Archer near the end of December, when I see how much from my Steam Winter Sale funds remains, but I guess I can open up my wallet a bit sooner...

I never understand how people complain about easy to earn, free stuff. Good chances of free stuff (usually amounting to a few million C-bills, couple hundred MC, possibly a free chassis, etc.) should be a good thing, am I right?

I paid for a TBR-C Champion on sale shortly before I won a free one during that Halloween thing (on the first grab bag I clicked), and you didn't see me screaming about it. Now I have two!

OK I guess I used an exclamation mark, which could technically count as screaming on the internet. But it was a happy scream

Eeh, don't speak for all of us. I started playing less than a week ago after finally remembering that MWO existed and I'm doing better than 3/4 of my team in nearly every match, even when I get lucky in FP and the PuG team has a big but not-quite-12 group in it.

Might be 'Mechs instead of tanks or planes, but F2P-team-vehicle-combat-arena is old hat; most of the new players that haven't learned stuff like torso-twisting, damage spreading, and playing with unlocked arms by now are never going to. Same goes for tactical thought and effective use of voip.

As for the event? Free **** is free ****, and nothing looks bad after getting out of an abusive relationship with Wargaming.

It could be like WoT's with the free mech bay Tank. The AH centurion can be a fun build with the AC 20 and some SRM's ( or 2 LRM 15's, 2 MG's.) It might get some of the new players to get the D, AL or even the Wang. Then people can be introduced to the zombie centurions running around with two legs, CT and 2 ML's. There is the pop a mole build with AC 2, 2 ML's and 3 SRM 6's that is also fun. Engage at range with the AC 2 then wham at close range.

Then all the free stuff, can not wait to build that 9 flamer hunch.

It seems that PGI made a decision to not include mechbays, even for the last one, so we still get some MC. Wait for a 50% off sale on mechbays and get them for 150 MC. There are still free mechbays available as you rank up in CW for the different factions. Ten are easy to get, then the next 10 need a bit more work. Getting 30 will take some time.

They do not have to give us these things, but 125 items total, just add them up and see how much you got at the end in MC and C-bills. It is fluff content, but fluff that can get you wanting more. (top hat Urbie should be on sale for new years if the pattern stays the same)

Also... I might be blind but is there a formula up showing what points we get for do what in a match to get our minimum score?

Removing mech bays as a prize is a little sad, that was one of the best ones. Oh well I have plenty of empty ones from the last 50% off sale.

Tip for you: take 7 day contracts for CW, one of the early rank rewards is a mechbay!

Yeah, PGI knows that many of the new players have read salty reviews of the game that tell not to spend money on MWO unless it is on Mechbays.
