If it has Jump Jets, I'll take it.
If it's a laser boat, I'll take it.
If it's fast, I'll take it.

Outside of those three conditions, I'll probably ignore it...

Trebuchet, Commando and Raven. Maybe i won't use the Raven.....i'll have to wait and see which variants they release of the Commando first.

Of what is available now I will definitely get the Raven and Centurion.
If/when they become available I'd buy the Wolfhound, Battlemaster, Cyclops and Thug.
If/when we get clan mechs the Mad Dog, Nova, Summoner and Super Nova are highest on my list.

I have been trying to find a list of mechs that will be available at release but my forum searches have not helped and apparently my google-fu is not strong.

Could some kind person point me in the right direction?

(I know which ones I get as a founder)

I would not want to restrict my capabilities by limiting my choices of mechs. I'd want them all, most interesting for me will be how classes influence our decision to select particular mechs on any given day/lance mate configuration.

I was a fan of specific mechs/specific mech configurations for specific jobs, you can't do that if you don't have the options.

Cheers,

Hmmm.. i remember when i played the rpg MechWarrior when it came out.. i started with a panther, and a bit later i upgraded to a hatchetman, later on i got a mad cat and a stalker for city ops. I have to say, we had an awesome gamemaster, great missions that made us think, not just go shooting in like madmen.

Exactly. I plan on multiple slot / mech purchases! My stable will rival any others, 'cause every mech has it's advantages! Even Urbie makes a great paperweight!

Outside of the founder's pack I'm looking mainly at the Commando and Centurion.

The devs have stated we'll have 10 mechs with different variants available at the start, they haven't said which ones though. Only 5 we know for sure are the founders and the Dragon (since it was shown in the mechlab video).

Personally no clue yet about the mechs I want, as I'm not such a big fan off having 20 mechs, but only using 5 off them, so I'll be making my decision after I get a feel off the game.
