I purchased a couple packs today over two hours ago. I know its the holidays and all, but am I going to be waiting until the 4th of Jan to get these bundles? I thought that it was supposed to be "on the hour" for account/item injections.

I think having to wait until after PB takes their holiday break for injections (along with all the people on holiday themselves buying stuff) would be a bad business strategy for the folks at MWO.

Anyone purchased today and gotten their stuff?

Nope, you won't have to wait that long!
Usualy it should take 15 minutes to 1 hour. Relogging may be helpful.
Also: Where did you buy them? Are you sure, that you didn't buy gift codes (via the gift shop)? They are sent to you via email!
And if you bought Warhammer, Riflemann or Archer: These are preorders, you won't get them before their release (first on in January).

Purchases are automated so at worse a little patience is needed unless its a preporder.

Warhammer released Jan. 19th, 2016.
Rifleman released Feb. 16th, 2016.
Archer released Mar. 15th, 2016.

What packs did you buy?

rifleman, warhammer and archer won't be released for some time
if you purchased a performance pack from steam...try logging out and back in, it should be there

As the others have said, if you haven't already you should receive your items soon as long as you didn't buy a pre-order package. If there is a problem, support staff are available through the 4th but in a limited capacity:

Looking back on the orders I made, it is indeed a manual action.
Which means sometimes pretty fast, sometimes it takes some time.

(the holidays will not help of course)
