Huggin was once a proud mech, the generous SRM-4 quirks got nerfed and it really sucks now. 3L is still king when it comes to the Raven. The Huggin isn't even fun anymore let alone useful.

It's time for some Clan Heroes, can't think of a single IS one I would like (Got PB, Huggin, Loup, Firebrand, Misery)

I disagree I love my huggin and easily do between 400 - 600 damage a match (yes post quirkening).

Haven't looked at page one of this thread yet , any chance it made it to page two without someone complaining about a sale ?

I've seen people whine about the free event and free rewards , whine about previous sales , so I'm sure someone is going to be upset this one isn't exactly to their specification also.

But to PGI thanks , just bought a little MC , now will likely buy some more to stock up for the year , and enjoying the stocking event too.

BACKGROUND: For the past 2 years, PGI has given out special loyalty mechs and free associated mech bays around the October time frame to celebrate the game's anniversary. However the time frame for eligible purchases has been January to the day of the give away which makes any purchases in December moot. Some of the loyalty mechs were pretty good, others, besides the unique camo were under performers but a freebie never the less. Other times they re-issued the ONE TIME UNIQUE mechs a second time as a loyalty prize with the inability to sell off the duplicate.

Just a head's up for anyone new from Steam. Unless PGI changes some of it's former policies, I don't want the new players from Steam to be upset in 10 months because no one told you that this was the case.

In the long scheme of loyalty rewards, I am waiting to purchase my rifleman and archer collectors packs til after the 1st. I will however purchase the steam light pack and some Mc to get a champion ach prime. This sale really has little effect as far as loyalty rewards go. Purchase some Mc after the first of the year, and you will meet the usual Mc purchase requirement.

This is a great opportunity for players with a smaller budget to grab some Mc and desirable bonus mechs. Thanks PGI!

This sale comes at a great time, my son has been looking at getting the Pirates Bane and he could use a little MC, so I'm gonna get it for him tomorrow and see if he notices when he logs in on Monday

Mech C-Bill sale is still set to "Soon"

Matt Newman promissed a C-Bill mech sale on ALL mechs....this is an "everything but C-bill sale" on mechs...PGI in the holiday spirit, any chance you could keep Matt's promise and have the C-Bill mech "soon" sale be soon (as in before the end of 2015)?

Also it would really be awesome if mechbays (which it seems have been omitted from this holiday even and the last few sales) would also be on sale.

People asking for mechbay sale and I'm just sitting here with 27 mechbays from last year, with no need to buy another 'mech, since I am still skilling up my Resistance 2 'mechs...

Now that's the sale I would like to see. I have like 20mil. C-Bills, so buying some assaults, or maybe even clan 'mechs would be really nice.

Oxide has bigger alpha, HUGINN, bigger DPS due to rapid firing rate of SRM-4's. Both are fun. I prefer the HUGINN over the oxide due to the faster machine gun like firing rate. Skilled light mech pilots will run out of missiles for either chassis as they make the Red team frustrated, and both can kill an Assault mech, more often, that is alone solo 1 vs 1 if the skill levels of both pilots were equal, just a matter of in game physics.

Tried a loadout w/ the 4 MG and 2x SRM 2 today. It didn't get as much damage as my SRM 4 build, but was a great light killer. One advantage over the oxide is the jumpjets. They help to get that advantage over assault mechs.
