Here's another idea: Clan 'mech only carry nerf guns... they do no damage but instead cause negative quirks on whatever they hit.

OMG they just increased CLAN tonnage in CW by 5 tons - this world is just crazy!!!!!

I really think that Clans need some negative quirks to structure and armor to compensate for their OP weapons and speed in weight class. The IS mechs should be able to one shot most clan mechs, because the clans are so fast and powerful that they may only get that one shot.....

DWF already has negative armor quirks.
