english is not my first language so i have to ask did i say something wrong?or i miss understand you
because what i asked is why "DON'T" people do the sword and board thing
why do people do everything they can,to not do the right thing, and fight counter clockwise?even if you ask em to go counterclockwise, they simply refuse to,WHY?

Weird idea here.....

Most people are right handed. Usually you go forward with your dominant hand. Your dominant hand always reaches out, you nearly always pick right hand path at a fork as you read from left to right. Nearly all your learning teaches head to the right. Words, equations, book pages all turn to the right.
Maybe it's a subconscious thing from that, or maybe I just talked a load of cackPosted Image

I always NASCAR counterclocwise because:
1. I use mouse with my right hand. The human hand is designed in a way that while holding the mouse the combination of finger, wrist, elbow and shoulder movement allows for greater movement range from center line to the left side than center line to the right side.
Therefore is it easier for me to circle a target counterclockwise than clockwise.
The lower your mouse sensitivity is the more apparent this difference becomes.

2. Right sided mech builds are also an influence but not the determining factor here.

If you don't believe me go to mechwarrior academy and brawl a turret (while also torso twisting) clockwise and counterclockwise to see the difference for yourself. Try lowering your mouse sensitivity as well.

Design bias. Many mechs are right handed (look at the stock loadouts).

Most of the matches I play seem to go counter clockwise, as your guns are exposed sooner and twisting presents your shield arm as you duck back to cover.

As far as I know. 80% of the world population are east/ right handed, 20% are west/ left handed. That explains some of it when cut down to how many of the 80% and 20% plays this game, I assume there are more righteast handers than the other way.
Also, habit. And how the maps are designed, sometimes.

Though Im proud to be left/ west handed and mostly doing my best battles counter clockwise withouth upsetting my team. Playing that way as much as I can and in spite of the usuall right side sheep rolling (if right side means doomed tactics). Still, I see about the same amount of west rolling as east rolling soit is varied.

I will say theres an even amount of right hardpoints and left hardpoints side focused mechs out there. But the symmetrical outclassing them both. Being both handed comes to mind, most adaptable.

Im mostly left handed, but use the right as well. When it comes to mechs I do tend to use left/ west focused mechs the most, like Banshees, Shadow Hawks etc. Which are two of my favorites.

Three reasons:

1. Right side dominant bias inherant to most humans. (aka it's the most comfortable way to go for most people when not thinking about it.)

2. Herd mentality. They're all doing it, I don't follow I die alone because they won't come back.

3. Tradition! It's the way we have always done it.

Now lather rinse repeat.

Tada!

Counter clockwise will turn back time and causes global warming.
