Elsydeon is the protagonist's endgame sword from Phantasy Star 4. I have used the name for years because it is unique.

Well, a loooooooong time ago, I used the callsign Spectre Six in my X-wing (or TIE Fighter, depending on the team)

Then it carried over to Starcraft, Halo and Mechwarrior 3.

I figured why the hell not and kept using it. Though I have had to shorten it to Six from time to time.

Now? once I get a Timber Wolf next year, I hope to nix the "Six" entirely and take the Pryde bloodname.

I also used this name from the old D&D games. Some one out there has started using this tag as their own so I jumped at reserving this when I could.

It was given to me by a friend. When I first started to play. I was very hard to kill, and tricky, and he spouted off Tsula, and it stuck as my callsign from that moment.
Tsula means Fox in Cherokee.

I discovered the C7A1 assault rifle back in my highschool days and thought c7a1 looked cool. so I used it everywhere. Cseven is just the word variant and no one ever said c7a1 they'd just call me c7 so it stuck. Been using it for over 9 years now

Because I couldn't take my normal call-sign (Hagetaga), I choose to be the slightly lesser known cousin of an Inner Sphere icon. ;)

I miss my barracuda and generally am a fan of Plymouths (vintage) and am also a fan of early American history. I also wanted a simple name and thought it might be available... and it was.

My name is basically a bastardized version of my old Gamestorm/multiplayer Battletech account, Redog ( which I also used back when we had the Battletech center at Circle Center Mall here in Indy.

It was a name I made up years ago for a character. Since I've discovered it's pretty much always avaliable in any game I try ever, I like to stick to it. Also, some people know me by that name. ;)

When I first started playing games online picking names was hard due to them being used. My first online game was Rune Scape if thats how you spell it. Anyways as I was trying to pick a name for my character most of the names I could think of was taken. So I started combiding parts of words I thought sounded cool. I ended of creating the name Grukilo which was from the two words Group and Kilometer. Over time I ran in to problems were that was used so I made a modification to that name and made Gyrukilo which was made from the words Gyro, Group, and Kilometer. Then when I changed emails during the time I was playing AQW I had forgot my passwords and couldn't retrieve them therefore I couldn't use Gyrukilo as a name. Thus once again I combinded both Grukilo and Gyrukilo and created Gyrulio. Other than that I mostly use Gyrukilo as my defult online name.

Well I wanted mine to sound like a real name that might appear in the Mechwarrior Universe and wanted to use something I would remember so I used a name from one of my old toons on DDO from a long time ago. Then I immediately recalled one of the most iconic characters in the Battletech Universe...Victor Davion and instantly regretted choosing Viktor Drake....oh well.

Jack is a shortening of my actual name, and Pryde... well.... any true Battletech fan will catch the bloodname instantly. ;)

It's funny, the first fictional character name I ever began to use came from my Mechwarrior 4 Pilot, Jarek Kaizen. After years of using that name, I moved onto Komaru, a name I used in a game in high school. I can't believe it didn't occur to me that this was the perfect time to bring back, especially now that I could once again build his trademark ER Large Laser-laden pink Daishi, "Fluffy".

I suspect that when the Daishi is available I will try and build a version of Fluffy once more...

Dungeons and Dragons, like so many others. Rolled up a Paladin, wanted a knightly name, remembered MW:4 and liking the Davion campaign, and bing bada boom, Mary Sue was born.

And while I love my Lowtaxian community, the challenge of surviving against a swarm of angry birds appeals to me and my foolish desire to fight organized teams with autocannons.

My name actually comes from an old RP I was involved in. Then when I signed up here I thought it sounded like some minor IS noble's name and there you have it: Jeremiah Mint, or his callsign: "Fresh" (yep, I went there)
