Dear, Mechwarrior Fans and Players

Right now the Public Test Server is for messing around in the mech lab and nothing much else.
But sense it's down n' all, you can't even do that. I propose (When it comes back online) that PGI gives the player's a tool that would allow them to mod the PTS server.

You're probably wondering: " What's stooping them from modding the game itself?" nothing I guess, but PGI's Smart and Inventive they'll figure something out. I have come up with a way to decrease the possibilities of that happening by that you have to send your patch/mod to PGI. I know that PGI will have to spend extra time making sure that they are adequate.

This will accelerate PGI's progress with the game or even just help with the occasional bugs and glitches that PGI doesn't have time for. Making the MWO gaming experience just a little bit more satisfying and enjoyable.

I hope that PGI listens to us and makes a wise decision.

-Thank you

Or hell, it would be nice to have them do open source.

This have been suggested to PGI several times over the last few years.

The long and short of it is, not gonna happen.

Modifying the game files by the user is grounds for banning under the TOS.

There's already PLENTY of people out there that whine about hax every time somebody kills them in the game. This would just open the floodgates wider.
