I think it is bullsh*t aswell...
I saw the giveaway on Facebook somewhere, but after did the requirements(even I foolis one made a Twitter acc for that...) checked the Razer FB page, and literally nothing about any kind of giveaway...
I'll ask for aswears from Razer aswell, if I have news I'll write.

Yeah, they told me to check this site
This is where they record all their contests, and giveaways, but the guy gave me another support adress, so i'll ask that guy aswell.
Yeah, It seem that it is a scam...

Well I don't know if "Scam" is the right word but it's definitely weird.

Well Razer has confirmed that they have nothing to do with it...

The question now is, why did PGI say that "there were mechpacks changing hands"?

Some one scammed PGI for free codes ? and do a fake giveaway (no one get anything ) and they say they contanct winners (no one will contanct anyone) free codes much? mby i will do giveaway? and keep codes for me?
also razer dont know anything about this , and 0 info on theri giveaway site.
Last thing was cockpit item from razer when you downloaded their software for headphones.

also look at this , for free cockipit item you must register and download their software , and for 240 dolla pack do only like on facebook? yea right.
i feel that something was wrong and instant writed here when even end, i asked here for winner nicknames.
Also send 2x email to MWO support and 2 emails to razer.

I got this confirmation email for entering. I had to like the Official Razer page, retweet and one other SM thing.
Was this a scam? If Razer is denying involvement.. WTF is going on....

Well Tina put an official announcement in the Announcements page that Razer would be emailing the winners. It's odd that there isn't anything on the official Razer page or Razer giveaways page. When you go to the gleam page and click on Terms and Conditions, the page is blank too.

I don't think it was a scam against PGI, however, it would be easy to find out if it was. They gave them codes for the packs, so if the same person redeemed all the codes then that would prove it was a scam. If a bunch of people who are on each others friends lists and play together redeeemed all the codes it is probably a scam. If a bunch of people from around the world and aren't all necessarily on each others friends lists, it's probably not a scam.

Curious how Razer confirmed they have nothing to do with it, while the @razer twitter feed posted this: https://twitter.com/...244132797083652

Yet the Razer giveaway forums did not have an announcement. Does their right hand know what the left is doing?

I can confirm the contest was legit and they have begun sending out rewards. I received a redemption code the Origins $80 bundle on Tuesday. The emailed me requesting a reply to confirm the email address was legit. I replied and they sent me the code to enter in my MWO account.

Thank you MWO and Razer
