I'll be honest. I've been sleeping around with all the factions in smurf accounts, because I'm a bit of a manwhore that way and wanted to see what the difference is.
In addition to possibly spreading Marik Fire Nuts STD to Clan Ghost Bear (awkward story, I'll spare you the details) I can safely say that CJF is the biggest winner going on right now. There sore some good units there (228 now too it seems) but even in pug matches they win a lot. Also a lot of drop options. They've always got an attack plant drop going. I admit, I'm a bit jealous. Their pugs queue up for attack. How do you even make that happen?
Mechs are really close right now. There isn't anything specific I dread seeing in IS or Clans, save a Dakkawhale or a 6xac5 Mauler. Either can ruin your day if caught in a bad position.

CJF pugs have always been pretty aggressive and it doesn't hurt that the units in CJF aer often begging for people to help them attack a planet to help fill out groups and bring numbers to the fight. Plus, I think we don't abuse our pugs by belittling them as much as I have seen in other factions...that's just been my experience though and is admittedly pretty limited.
