House of Lowtax is one of their community guilds for Mechwarrior online. The reason they do the Teteatea, images, etc is to try to troll users of the forum, they are not being serious (obviously).

The user base on these forums make excellent targets for their trolling. Since people are very attached to the lore and setting, role playing as bird warriors will gain them a lot of mad responses and attention.

If you just ignore them and play the game, you win. If you make posts or feed into their troll by being mad, you lost. In MWO you are limited to 12v12, and they will be a small minority of the player base assuming it is successful, so it's not a big deal at all. If the fact they "roleplay" this stuff on the forums to troll people annoys you, simply ignore it and realize they are not serious.

I like the idea that I've been playing Battletech since the mid 90's solely so I could prepare to troll these forums and in a couple of months I'll get bored and leave the series. Apparently I'm a master of the long con. Also Squawk.

RoyalWave is mostly alright but he overlooks a few points.

Firstly, we've all got BetaFever (see wat I did der?) and having nothing better to do pretending to be birds is more fun than reading the same few snippets of information over and over and over and over and over and over.

Secondly, some people found the idea of certain subway transportation systems declaring themselves to be heads of a faction HILLARIOUS and decided to poke at it a bit.

Thirdly, you should take a look at this thread for an awesome alternate reality Battletech campaign that's been running for over a year or more now. It's good readin'.

Finally, who wants to be a Capellan? They all smell funny and they're soggy because they keep crying from all the righteous facepunchings they get from us noble Davions.

This is perhaps the most innocuous trolling on the forums. We get a few random squawks and a much less annoying than word of blake following. I say go with it. House Liao now has a bunch of crazy people who think they are birds, or warriors who are birds from a primitive world.

Whatevs! I can fight birds as well as I can people.

I suggest using Tetatae shot in your LBX when fighting the CC.
