I think Pgi has made attempts at executing this idea but I think they've only vaguely referenced it.
Maybe once Long Toms have been reimagined or swapped for something less op we can have a mini-Tuk type event like this.

I used to run WW2 Campaigns for RO and DH. Why don't we use the in game map as our campaign map and do CW through another site like it should be done. Unit Strengths, Morale, Readiness, reinforcements/resupply and so on. We basicly make our own CW the way it should be made instead of PGI doing it since they have no plans to listen to any of this.

Indeed, I'm not the one to setup such a website but if anyone with the capability were to do so, that'd be good.

Revisiting this idea. For this idea to work there is a key element.
Immersion. The event should be written up as orders from the high command of whichever faction you're fighting for.
The event should make itself out to be a military operation with an objective. Perhaps there could be some way to simulate supply lines, casualties, etc in the event.
Also, Long Tom needs to be reworked or replaced, etc. It's too much, no one wants to deal with it. Perhaps this could be overcome by strong incentives specific to playing scout mode. That would go along with the theme of this being a military operation. I still think Long Toms need to be nerfed a bit more (perhaps make it multiple shells that total the current DMG)

Dont worry about an event, just make it perpetual Tukiyad event.
