Little Things

I would like to see trees burst apart and catch fire from damage, it's strange how some can phase through weapon damage while others are indestructible, forget ferrosteel make an indestructible wood mech.
I'd also like for there to be a chance for your mechs fusion core to explode doing splash damage to the surrounding mechs (maybe this would make people spread out a little)
and just a thought do you think instead of ghost heat and such it would be better to put in instrument issues when you heat is too high, make the Hud flick and maybe a little static while extreme heat makes you cross hairs shake like JJ's do.
This is just for little wishlish daydreams

I'd like the cars to move (and be destructible).
I'd like a ship or two on the water maps (and be destructible?).
Being able to topple a sky-scraper onto an enemy mech is probably asking too much.
Tanks, but of course we would need a purpose for them. Escort mission?
With the exception of exploding fusion cores (agree to disagree on that one), most of the widgets in MW4 that qualify as "little things", would be on my wishlist.
I don't expect any of this stuff to be implemented, but hey I can dream.

You will happy to know that they are indeed working on having trees catch fire but they are running into issues where it becomes a memory hog and the FPS drop like a rock.
As for the engines exploding, well, no, for a fusion engine will not go up in a mushroom cloud like in the books and other games. No Stack Polling please.

headlights
mech explosion, but little to no damage (like one artillery shell)
I'd like to see a "Total Net Worth" (adding up all the worth of my mechs/inventory, etc)

Game hints need to be on the loading screen 10 more secs, they scroll through too fast to digest first time you read them. I can scan them fine now, but thats only because I already know what they are going to say. But as a newbie they read like "whatever you do, don't ever ever ever press the - " annnd its gone.
More room to name our mechs. 4-6 extra spaces would be fine.
Match results need to stay up longer, or be transferred to playerside so we can study them longer.
Need ability to delete/sell cockpit items we don't want. My bay is cluttered with teddy bears and candy canes.
For CW, planet name should always be in every loading screen. Its not in one which makes it hard to rally players to you if you forget what planet you are dropping on.

Logs that crumble and snap when you walk on or over them instead of being obstacles

Destructible terrain. Building with Hit Points, that you could run through, and or cause to collapse with focused damage. So not "global hitpoints" per say, but walls having "X" hit points depending on structure type, and the Supports having their own. Destroy a support, cause a partial collapse.
Yes, I want Rampage meets MWO
Add into that AI conventional forces, etc, and I would be stoked.

I got excited for a second when you mentioned Rampage destroying buildings in MWO...then I realized you meant Rampage the game and not Rampage Jackson.

be more impressive if it wasn't a hollow core door. You or I could rip one of those to pieces.

I'd like my JJ thrust back.
I'd like my unwarranted optimism back.

Of course...it's on a reality show. On top of that, anyone who watches MMA knows that was most likely staged...Rampage never throws kicks in his fights.

I'd like there to be some group size matchmaking in CW, and for attack corridors to be narrowed so that players are concentrated in a few places, to reduce wait times and make a matchmaker work.

Some 3 or 4 tonne laser/dakka choices.
Also, all the good immersion improvements, e.g. mentioned above.

would also like it if I could enable an arrow that would display LRM trajectory, so I know when my MISSiles will hit terrain or actually arc over cover. (kinda like the 'your legs are pointed this way arrow)

- Fix terrain so that giant stompy robots don't get stuck on dumb little things
- Finally put an end to hitreg issues which are better than they used to be but still act up
- More friendly small-group queuing
Oh, I forgot.
- Remove map vote, bring back the ability to queue for a specific game mode. Conquest all day every day.
