Not a fan of putting 3xLPLs on every mech with appropriate E hardpoints (i mean seriously, why does the majority of "competitive IS mech builds" consist of slapping in as many LPLs as the mech can carry effectively?)
I'll stick to my 4xML. 2xSRM4, STD engine Quickbrawl.

Eh, will still watch the competition. Usually enjoy watching them. Going to root for the Quickdraw, even though i don't approve of the build!

awww man...i thought this was a tournament for all.....need more challenge events for free stuff for all.

Make everyone pilot TRIAL MECHS....then maybe I will tune in and watch.

Better yet....TRIAL LIGHT MECHS....then everyone will be on equal footing and piloting skills will be heavily needed instead of the biggest guns on the battlefield.

Around 22:00, STK-3H has longer range than BLR-2C, not the other way around.

It's hard to get excited over this when this announcement was made 4 hours before the event was to take place.

I did get to speaking to "Dadfire" about this, and there's a purpose to this event... mostly as a cautionary tale for PGI for their supposedly upcoming tourney.

We'll see how this progresses.

Aaaand I succesfully missed it,

indeed these annoucnements coem way too short before the event, and uhhm, its actually not at 7th of january 1:30 AM UTC, because thats already the 8th in UTC.

Also did you made an announcement in the steamgroup for this?
