What I don't understand is why everyone is so irritated about this. Hiding is a valid tactic - also pretty useful if you're good & lucky on the timing for ambushes or evading detection for ambush. Doesn't make sense why people think mechs should only play the slug-it-out play style and anything else is against the TOC. Also, if a player has died in the match and is spectating some other player who is doing something they don't like, well, jump off the match, get on another mech and play a new match. By the time you're done your previous mech should be ready to use then.
Not to mention, whoever is still alive in that other match is entitled to do what he/she thinks is best for them in that match. Whether or not it's foolish or praiseworthy is up to that player. He/she is not obligated to listen to impatient players who wants the match to end if they're dead. It's their fight, they're the ones who decide how they want to finish that fight.
Why so insistent on one particular mech? (unless you're a newcomer, in which trial mechs are good buffers until you acquire enough Cbills to purchase other mechs or variants to expand your bays).
What this post is about:
- Running out the clock, or needlessly extending the duration of the match, in cases where doing so will not assist you towards victory.
Taken directly from MWO CoC. I'm all for sneaky combat, but the above is childish. If you go through this post you'll see the kind of arguments they're putting up.

I'm going to assume that english is not your primary language, so I'll forgive your inability to formulate a cohesive thought...
With that said, WTF are you talking about? What does any of the sewer filth you vomited have anything to do with the context of this thread? Let's be clear here, the idiots here want to punish a player for not laying down and presenting their neck for execution! Moves like this make me want to troll the living hell out of all of you who support this BS!
Who care's if English is not someone's 1st language? Does speaking English make you better? And... You relate constructing a "cohesive thought" to the ability to speak English. Wow.
And after all that you couldn't even recognize the great point that he did make. Did you bother to read what he quoted?
I'm really tired of being told how I HAVE to play the game...really tired.
His response was perfect.
