A stock crow is around the same price as a fully built 55t mech. Those XL engines are expensive! Clan mechs are typically more combat efficient and cost effective over IS mechs.

Griffs are "good" mechs but in MWO current environment, XL IS mechs get rekt without structure bonuses.
