So I got a Starbucks gift card for Christmas and I never really go to Starbucks so I figured I'd just use it on some mechs. But when I go to pay with my gift card, and enter the number it tells me the service is currently down. Any idea how long its going to be down for/whats going on?

Edit: this isn't some troll post or a joke. They legitimately accept Starbucks gift cards as payment. You can look for yourself, just select other payments.

On a more serious note I got Steam gift cards for christmas and all i can use them on it weak sauce performance packs!

Yes. Go to pay, click other, you can pay with starbucks, or subway, or Amazon, or about 100 other gift cards.

So, it looks like they don't give you the full amount of the cards balance. That's how they make money off doing this.

So, if your gift card is $25, then they give you $19.62. There is also a system fee of $1.02, so they really only give you $18.60 for $25. If what you want to buy is more than that $18.60, then your out-of-luck. Doesn't look like there is a way to stack cards. If it's less, than they will add the remaining balance after your purchase to your Xsolla card, which is some sort of online fund that you can use for future purchases.
