I'm not opposed to that, either, but I would mostly just like to eek out a bit more pod space. But the reason I'm mostly ambivalent about it as far as the EXE goes is because I actually do use MASC on it as it actually can be handy, especially when maneuvering around harassing light mechs.
The medium MASC is the one that could really use some love though. For them it's a lot harder to justify devoting the tonnage for very little return.
