Have jump jets !

I would like ecm

Innersphere heavier mechs with ECM are limited to the Atlas DDC and the Cataphract 0XP, both of which drag their weapons along the ground. If ravens are all you've used so far, you'll find yourself shooting dirt often.

The trial atlas will give you a fair idea of what the DDC will be like, but I suggest staying away from Cataphracts at the moment.

Stalkers have chicken legs and may suit you if you don't mind the lack of ballistics. Just don't use XL engines in them.

Catapults are another option with chicken legs. Not especially strong, but they'll get the job done.

There's a Griffon with ECM, but those mechs can be hard to use due to weapon hardpoints. Cataphract may be your best bet. But just keep in mind that they don't move like light mechs!

If you're willing to give up on ECM, there's some good jump capable medium mechs that don't slack on speed like a Cataphract would: BlackJack and Shadow Hawk

Shadowhawk (since you mention JJ, otherwise the answer is obviously Hunchback!). :)

I kid, I kid, I'm more of a Centurion pilot than a Hunchback pilot.

Okay, I'll pit my CN9-D against your HBK-4G, just have to bump into each other in game then.

I love the Centurion...

but LOL come on that has got to be a troll build, that Centurion won't stand a chance against an HBK. XL Engine? Twice as much ammo as you actually need for an LB-10X? Ammo in an XL side torso? 3 extra double heat sinks that you just don't need for cooling those weapons? All of the things wrong with that Centurion Posted Image

I like to roll close to stock, that's the kit she came with, that's the kit she keeps.

Jumps + Chicken legs + ECM then your only option is the 40T Cicada, though this is too similar to what you've already got.

If you can live without ECM (and don't mind spending a little MC), I'd say catapult. Make sure to get the K2 and Jester then whichever of the boring ones takes your fancy.

If you can live without chicken legs, I'd say Cataphract. A great mech, but only the 3D can jump.

My personal recommendation though would be Enforcer for the fast, tanky, dakka, jump-jet awesomeness that it is. I used to be a Centurion kinda guy, until I went ENF.

No IS mech has jumpjets, ECM and chicken legs. If you want jumpjets and ECM, the GRF-2N is the only choice, but it's mostly missile-based. If you want ECM and chicken legs, both the CDA-3M and the CTF-0XP are options. For jumpjets and chicken legs, CTF-3D, most Catapults and Marauders would be candidates.

While no one variant does both at the same time, Cicadas do have both jumpjet and ECM options among their variants.

I forgot CTF's knees bent backwards. Not sure I'd class them as particularly chicken-y though. Kinda reminds me more of a scorpion or some weird goat guy.

JJs AND ECM in heavier mechs are harder to come by.

If it's the ECM you're really wanting, Cicada, Cataphract, Griffin

If it's JJs you want, Blackjack, Enforcer, Grasshopper, Quickdraw, Victor, Highlander

The Griffin would be the logical choice. And it's a damn good mech too to learn the game if JJ must be used.

The Cicada dont have JJ unless you got the Loyalty variant that isnt available for mc or cbills.

For new players i like to recommend Hunchback but none have JJ or ECM, Griffin has both and will teach you to protect body parts too.

Imo you can never go wrong with a Cataphract. It's 70 tons of twisted steel and sex appeal. The 3d has jump jets and all of them have the chicken legs. Other variants have cool attributes. One has ecm, one is a heavy hitter with 4 ac5's, the only thing they aren't very good at is lrm's and most of its weapons are slung low

The Atlas is one of the hardest chassis to play effectively IMHO but you feel like a total badass wading through the carnage. It's probably my favourite mech in lore and in game. Probably not a good 2nd mech even though it does meet your ECM criteria.

Somewhere in the timeline Atlas gets JJ. No chicken legs though lol (does armour shaving count??)
